"Get off of the computer and come play with a nigga," Chance said to me as Taylor and Vic stared at me. "You work too much"

"Alright, alright" I gave in heading over to the card table with them.

"We cool right?" Taylor asked me.

"Yeah," I said as I started shuffling the cards.

We started a game of spades with Chance on my team, while Vic and Taylor were partners.

"We going wills" Chance announced as I looked at him like he was crazy.

I told him I had two books and this nigga talking about getting ten books all together.

"Really Chance?" I asked.

"Yeah, you don't trust me? Plus the score is 430 to their 300, if we don't get it we'll be good." he explained.

"Yeah, okay come on."

"Write it down nigga" Chance told Taylor.

After all of the cards were played, we actually ended up with 12 books of the 13.

Chance literally had everything, he ain't even need me to play.

"Told y'all we was gon win, ain't that right Ny" Chance asked as he got up to hug me.

"Yeah," I said. "I gotta start dinner" I told him. "Good game, y'all" I said as I proceeded to walk into the kitchen.

"Yeah whatever. If this nigga over here would of just made his little two books, then we would have won." Taylor made fun of Vic. "I made mine though!" he yelled at Vic.

I couldn't help but laugh. It ain't even that serious. It was a simple card game.

"You want help?" Chance asked as he came up hugging me from behind.

"If you want, you can clean the greens in that sink." I told him.

"Aight, I gotchu" he said before he went to the other sink to wash his hands.

I was now putting the ham in the oven. After setting everything up, I started on the candy yams. Dinner was about to be bomb. Plus I haven't even cooked in awhile.

"I've got a" Chance started to sing.

"A lady friend" I sang the rest of the line before finishing up the candy yams and placing them in the oven as well.

"You're just, you're just, gorgeous, gorgeous" he sang to me as he swayed me from side to side in a hug.

That was my favorite part of the song.

"You are really sweet you know that?" I asked as I helped him put the greens in the pot.

"And you are a very special lady." he said as he kissed my cheek.

"Let's play another game as the food cook" I said.

"Spades again?" Chance asked Vic and Taylor as he entered the living room.

"Nah I don't want to play with this nigga no more" Taylor said while looking at Vic.

Vic was too high to even respond to all of this. He just sat there staring into space occasionally tuning in to our conversations.

"Uno?" I suggested.

"Yeah, I'm gon whoop your ass" Taylor said to me.

"Boy bye," I said as I shuffled up the cards.

As I was shuffling and dealing, Chance just stared at me. I thought it was weird but I just ignored it.

"Uno" I called out as it was now Chance's turn.

"Draw 4 nigga" he said as he looked over at Taylor.

"Thought it was" Taylor said as he put out another draw four making me supposedly have to draw eight.

Little did they know, I had a draw four as well.

"I'm out nigga" I said as I got up from the table to check on the food.

"Ny be cheating" Taylor accused me.

"Nigga don't be mad cus you lost, I play fair" I yelled from the kitchen. "The food is done!" I yelled.

I let both Taylor and Chance make their plates before I made my own. After eating dinner, Taylor decided to go home so it was just Chance and I chilling.

I was laying on the couch watching Martin when Chance decided he wanted to interrupt.

"Let's go for a ride" he suggested.

"A ride where? It's 2 in the morning Chance,"

"Let's go star gazing, you wasn't about to go to bed anyway." he said as he pulled the cover off of me.

"Okay," I said before I slipped on my flip flops. "Let me just grab a water" I said.

"Already got it for your thirsty ass" he said as he handed me the water.

"Thanks," I said as we walked to his car. "Can I drive?" I asked.

I always wanted to drive a Mustang.

"Yeah sure," he said as he tossed me the car keys.

"You're so sweet," I said as I started the car up.

"Just to you," he said as he laid back in his seat.

"Where are we heading?" I asked as I pulled out of his driveway.

"The beach," he told me as I drove to the beach.

"It's beautiful out here" I told Chance as I held his hand walking in the sand letting the water touch my toes.

"Not as beautiful as you though" he said with a smile making me blush.

"Is this a good spot?" I asked as we walked further away from the water trying to pick a good spot to lay this blanket down.

"Yeah it's good." he said as he placed the blanket on the dry sand.

I laid down while Chance laid next to me. We just stared at the stars and pointed out certain ones that made a unique shape. We talked about any and everything.

"You know it's great to just be happy chilling in each other's presence?" I said to him as he wrapped his arm under my head and around my shoulder.

"Yeah, it's amazing. I kind of want this forever, ya know?" he said as I snuggled up closer to him taking in his scent.
