Nyeesha Brooks
"Ny," I heard Chance call me.
"Yeah," I said looking up from Chance's MacBook.
"Don't work too hard, this is a mini vacation." He said as he began making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. "Want one?"
"Nah I don't like peanut butter," I responded. "And okay, I'm done now" I said as I closed his laptop and placed it on the desk.
"But you eat Reese's and Peanut M&M's." He said as he looked at me smirking.
"Yeah I know but I don't like pure peanut butter, shit nasty bruh." I laughed.
"You don't make any sense." He said.
We were in a hotel in DC for one of K Camp's concerts. Of course Chance allowed me to come since I loved K Camp so much.
"Now I'm bored," I said as I got up to grab the box of fruity pebbles.
I noticed Chance's small tattoo.
"When you get that?" I asked as I pointed at his bare chest.
"I was like eighteen" he said as I nodded continuing to make my bowl of cereal.
"Wanna watch a movie?" He asked.
"Yeah, you pick." I told him.
"Wanna finish The Walking Dead series?" He asked.
"Sure," I said as I started eating my cereal.
After watching 3 episodes, it was time for us to head to the concert.
"Do I look fine?" I asked Chance.
"Yes, you're gorgeous." He told me as he kissed my cheek.
"Thank you," I said
"What about me?" He asked as he posed like someone in the GQ magazine.
"Boy if you dont get..." I started before I busted out laughing. "Sike nah, but you always look good. You look the same everyday."
"True,"
"Always wearing khakis and your foams." I started. "Which reminds me, happy belated birthday." I said as I pulled out a box even though Chance's birthday was months ago.
"What's this Ny?" He asked.
"It's a gift now just accept it." I said. "Since you don't accept my rent money, I'll just spend it on you." I smiled. "Open it please, we gotta get goin"
I was making great money at this vinyl store. I had more than enough to move out but Chance doesn't want me to. He claims he actually enjoys my company. To be honest, I didn't really want to leave. Living with him is amazing. He's just such a great person.
He opened the box and immediately pulled me into his chest for a hug.
"Thanks so much Ny, I really appreciate it" he said before he took his foams off and put his new limited edition ones on. "They fit perfect, how you know my big ass shoe size?" He asked.
"I have my ways," I smirked.
"These wavey bro," Chance said as he examined his shoes before he kissed my cheek.
I caught that moment on snapchat and uploaded it to my story with the caption "♥️".
"Is it okay if I upload this to my snapchat?" I asked Chance making sure it was okay as I showed him the snapchat.
"Yeah I don't care, do you know how many times people take pictures of me without talking to me?" He asked.
"Ohh," I said. "Thanks though."
"No thank you for this lovely gift, you ready?" He asked.
"Yeah," I said as I grabbed my clutch and headed out of the door.
Pat was already outside in the GMC waiting for us.
"Hey Pat" I spoke as I got settled in my seat.
"Hey Ny," he said looking at me in the rearview mirror. "Wassup Chano," he said to Chance once he was settled.
"Yooo" Chance responded before Pat drove off.
"Ayeee," Chance said once he met K Camp backstage.
"Slum!" K Camp randomly screamed as his squad followed up with a bunch of "slums" at various pitches.
I thought it was all hilarious. They were like a pack of wolves.
"This is Nyeesha," he said as he introduced me. "She's a huge fan," Chance said which made me laugh.
"Shut up," I whispered to Chance. "Nice to meet you," I said as I extended my hand for K Camp to shake.
Instead he pulled me in for a hug.
"So you copped my One Way tape that released yesterday?" K Camp asked me I guess testing to see if I was really a fan.
"Yeah you already know, Lil Bit and My Niggas are my favorite songs," I smiled.
"Okay, I'm gon pull you onto the stage to turn up with me, ard?" He asked.
I looked at Chance for permission like he was my daddy or something. He just stared back at me.
"Yes," I responded. "That should be a fun experience." I smiled.
"Time to get on stage," the stage manager told K Camp.
"Showtime bro," K Camp told Chance.
The melody to Money Baby started playing lowly in the background as Chance put on his baseball jersey before entering the stage after K Camp.
"DC yall know how to turn up?" K Camp asked the crowd as everyone screamed. "Chance The Rapper joined a nigga on stage, Chicago representing"
"I like smoking weed," Chance started singing before he started jumping around the stage.
Chance always has so much energy. I love it. After the song was over, the melody to Lil Bit started to play.
"Nyeeshaaaaa" K Camp sang as the stage manager directed me on stage handing me a mic.
"Ayeeee get fucked up," K Camp started.
"Lego" I said when the part came up. I didn't know what to do besides dance and vibe with him.
I sang the ad Libs and added a few runs in there letting everyone actually hear me sing. Towards the last two verses, I actually rapped along with K Camp as Chance jumped around the stage. I actually got into the song more doing my little dance on stage. I was more open to dancing and singing only because no one in DC knew me. After the song was over, the melody to Cut Her Off started to play and we turned up some more. After that we all headed backstage again. It was a very short show since K Camp was performing at a club.
"Why you ain't tell me you could sing?" Chance asked.
"Yooooo you was bomb out there, we need to make a remix together." K Camp said as he hugged me.
"I don't know, I used to be shy." I told Chance. "And I enjoyed that, we could possibly make that happen." I told K Camp.
After drinking and smoking at the club, we decided it was best that we head to the hotel. Pat dropped us off and we all headed to our rooms. Chance and I actually decided to share a room.
"You were amazing tonight," I told Chance.
"No you were. Thanks for coming with a nigga" he gave me a small hug with a kiss on the forehead.
"No problem, I'm going to have a mean hangover in the morning so I'm going to go to bed." I said as I took my pants off hopping into bed.
A nigga was beyond drained.
"Good night Ny, thanks again." He said before I turned off the lamp on my side getting comfortable in the bed.
"Good night Chano"
