Guns were all pulled. Tokyo held the Governor tightly in her arms as she slowly backed out of the room. The knocked-out lieutenant had woken quicker than they expected. He jumped from the ground and grabbed Nairobi, shoving his gun deep into the base of her head. Ava's eyes widened, and she looked from Nairobi to Tokyo. Nairobi seemed scared, but Tokyo didn't. She thought he was bluffing.

"You won't shoot the Governor, " Gandia snapped, "but I'll sure as hell shoot this bitch." He stared hard at Nairobi for a bit too long before his attention went back to Tokyo and Ava.

"Let her go." Ava snapped. "You shoot her, and we'll kill every last one of you. Let her go and maybe you'll stand a chance. " Ava deviously grinned, her brows furrowing as she watched him carefully. He didn't seem phased in the slightest.

"Let her go." The Governor spoke finally. "Gandia, let the girl go. I don't want anyone harmed. " He begged him. Gandia stared at him finally. Slowly, but surely, he pushed Nairobi out of his grasp. Nairobi snapped back into action, getting herself back together, and pointing her guns at the group of men that were still following them. They were walking backwards, heading towards the elevator. They studied the outline of the bank. They knew almost every room, even some of the hidden ones. Every single place on the blueprint was known by Ava. She had studied it over and over again until it was imprinted in her brain. Just as they were getting in the elevator and the doors were slowly shutting, the Governor pushed out of Tokyo's grasp. He ran out of the elevator just in time and the elevator doors shut.

"Fuck." Ava stressed the word, an annoyed groan leaving her lips. This was just the beginning of the heist and there was already a problem. No matter how much you planned, you'd never be able to tell every single outcome, ever. Nairobi hit the button on the elevator to go up, but Tokyo shook her head. She hit the other button for them to go down just like they were going.

"Where are you going?" Nairobi questioned.

"Straight into battle." Tokyo said.

"We're going to get the Governor back." Ava backed up Tokyo, standing beside her with a gun drawn. Nairobi nodded, agreeing and she pulled out her gun as well. The three of them were close during the first heist, but now they were unbreakable. They cared about each other as more than just friends. They were family. They weren't going to let one go into battle without the rest having their back.

The elevator came to a stop, and they all got off, staying aware of their surroundings. There they were. They surrounded the three of them, their guns pointing directly at them. The Governor was nowhere around.

"Checkmate." Gandia copied Ava's wording from earlier and he smirked at the women. He really thought he succeeded in getting them. Ava looked from Gandia to the others, her eyes going cold.

The Professor was watching everything unfold, staring at the cameras hard. It already was off plan, and as long as the others didn't know, the three women wouldn't stand a chance against Gandia and the rest of them. For the first time in two years, the Professor was scared. He loved the adrenaline he got from the heists, but he didn't miss the fear that someone he loved was going to die.

Ava debated on shooting, but the cons were outweighing the pros. The pro was that Gandia would be dead and they wouldn't have to worry about him. Berlin swore that execution would be the best for the man because of his background. He knew he'd do whatever he needed to do to protect the Governor or show himself as the hero, even if it included killing every single one of them. The Professor thought differently. He still wanted no causalities, even if it would make this whole thing easier.
