Time seemed to go faster as everything fell back into place. The students of class 1-A were going back to normal classes after being split up into work studies. Pro hero teachers were getting better at teaching subjects. It was simple really. But such a little difference goes a long way.
Bakugo had finally gotten his Hero License along with Todoroki. Both them and Midoriya had been working under Endeavor has his side kicks in training. Bakugo wasn't really a fan of the big man. He was a wife beater and a child abuser. The dude could learn a thing or too from Mac about how to treat a spouse, but he wouldn't say that out loud.
The only part that he enjoyed doing was being able to use his quirk to fight villains. After the training camp incident, he had been slightly terrified to come face to face with them again, this time he could fight back. He hasn't had any nightmares recently, but with Mac being around him almost everyday, it's helped him relax more. Not only has he himself noticed a difference, his classmates noticed too.
He's been more open and less rude to them. He's not as loud anymore save for a few times when he tutors Kirishima and Kaminari (with those bone heads, it's hard to keep your cool.) Mina has included Bakugo in with the girls when they have girls night. He protested at first saying he wasn't gay to which Mina responded with "We all know that you and Mac are together." After that he shut his mouth and actually enjoyed himself. He'd let them rub lotion on his hands and feet, and do face masks. They taught him how to braid hair for when Eri came to visit as he's the other one besides Mac who she will actually socialize with.
Eri was finally out of the hospital and back home. Mika( a/n :i still dont remember how i spelled her name lmao) had been offered a job at U.A. as well to help Recovery Girl. She was so relieved and thankful for the opportunity. She was able to be with Eri more now without having to rely on other people.Mac and Bakugo or Aizawa and his partner would help babysit her on some weekends to allow some time to herself. She was so lucky to have people like them in her life making things easier and more relaxing.
Mac had been learning to control his quirk finally. With him not using it hardly ever(really only two times in his life), he has learned so many new things that he didn't know it could do. He had always thought that being intimate with someone was the only way he could store up power. To find out that he only had to make skin contact with someone to drain their engery was shocking to him. Draining energy in order to store it was the easy part.
Releasing it right after was hard to do.
Aizawa had paired him up with Kirishima in his probationary activity. It was during the heroics class so it was both educational for the red head, and a chance for Mac to actually be a teachers assistant like he was forced to sign up to do. They were seeing if he could do shock absorbtion whenever someone threw a punch at him.
"Kirishima. Lay your next attack on his side. Mac, i want you to try focusing your draining on the spot he's going to make contact with. It might take a few tries but this is crucial."
Mac had his hair tied back with a bandana wrapped around his head. He was wearing special made "hero suit" pants that expand when he absorbs energy from his opponent. His torso was bare in order for him to have better contact when in combat, and the titanium bracers on his wrists acted as a conductor with his power attacks.
The red head threw a punch towards Macs left side. Mac tensed his abdomen muscles in order to prepare for impact. Kirishima had partially hardened his fist as he made contact. The punch caused Mac to get pushed back a few meters, his feet dragged the ground putting divots in the dirt.
He could feel the energy as he absorbed it throughout his body. He felt his eyes glow and his body transform into his beast. His tail felt heavier as it grew thicker with the spikes on the end and the added weight from his horns had him loose his balance for a few seconds.
