Today is the day, I start my new school, I'm so scared my family and I have just moved house from Cambridge to Croydon to attended Whitgift School (pretend it's a all sex school).

As I was walking up to the gates so many things were running through my head like what If no one like me, what if I make a fool of myself. One thing you will learn about me is that I'm an overthinker.

I stand at the gates for a little while I start to calm myself down as it won't be too bad as you are in year 12 so there will be other external students aswell as me so I'm not alone. Make me feel a little better.

I walk towards my form room apparently the sixth form form here are mixed of year 12 and 13 meaning there will be people older me in my form. Now I am really freaking out. Finally I got to my form room surprisingly I didn't get lost. First thing said to me when I walked in was where I was going to be sat. Apparently I was sat next to this year 13 boy, great, that's the last thing I want on my first day.

I sat there quietly minding my own business not interacting with anyone. Until I heard to sound of a chair being pulled out beside me and someone sitting down. This must have been him. I  took a quick glance and then I carried on being quiet as usual.

Then out of nowhere I hear him say "Is this how it's gonna be all year." I looked at him with a confused face. I replied quietly "sorry I'm new and I don't really know many people"
He laughed and said "I'm Kit so you know me now what's your name?"
I was taken aback by what he had said I stuttered "Ummmm I'm Grace I just moved here so I.."
"Hi Grace there you are you have officially made a new friend. Wanna hang out at lunch."

I was stunned by what Kit said it took me awhile to answer. But I finally replied with "if you don't mind that would be nice"
He instantly replied with "Of course I can take you for a tour of the school"
I blushed slightly and nodded.

The bell rang and I said "Where do I go for Music"
