Chapter 2: The List

"I'm so nervous!" Said Gabby on the way to school. "What if I didn't make it?"

"I bet you did, you did great! It's me who probably didn't get in." Liza said.

They walk up to the front doors, and to the office. "Ready? One... Two ... Three!" Gabby said. They both looked and it said: Congrats to Katie Brit Gabby Liza...

Yay! There where more but they got in! They hopped with joy! "Let's hurry to English" said Gabby and they linked arms and skipped away.

Katie was at her locker when Adam walked up. "Hey, I'll text you tonight ok?" He walked away. Katie looked at Brit and squealed.

"How do you get a hot boyfriend and strait A's?" Brit asked. Katie just shrugged. "Do you think Gavin will still ask me out, like it's been forever!" Brit had a crush on Gavin ever since kindergarten.

"Just be your self and maybe he just might" Katie said.

"You really think so?" Brit asked.

"Of corce!" Brit gave Katie a hug and the walked to home EC.

"Come on bro! Who are you going to ask out?" Tim asked Gavin.

"With football and baseball? I don't know if I'll have time!" Gavin said.

"I heard there's some pretty hot cheerleaders this year. Like Brit or Taylor..." Tim said with a little shove.

"I don't know bro. Girls are just a distraction and you know it! Tim?" Tim was checking out Katie as she walked by. "See!"

"Sorry, what?" Agh! Gavin just walked away. I should really get a new friend, Gavin thought.

After school Gabby and Liza went to Liza's house. "Hi cheerleader! I'm so exited!" Gabby said.

"Do you think there are many on the squad?" Liza asked.

"I bet! I heard that Katie was going to be flyer and we will be tumblers, but it's just dumb gossip!" Gabby couldn't even stand still!

"I have an idea, makeovers!" Said Liza.

"O-" gabby was interrupted by a knock on the door. "Will your mom get it?" Liza nodded. They listen and heard muffled voices.

"Hi mrs. Carly! I'm Gabe, I'm here to talk about your daughter. Gabby mouthed 'what did you do' and Liza just shrugged. They heard the man come in. "She is a very lovely girl and I'd like to ask if I could have your blessing to ask her out" Gabe said.

"No way!" Gabby looked as shocked as Liza.

"You seem like a gentlemen but, you'll have to ask her dad" of corce he said yes and next they yelled "Liza, come here please!"

"Come on, let's check this guy out!" Gabby and Liza jogged down the stairs. There in the living room was a tall boy with chocolate colored hair. His eyes twinkled like the stars. His smile lit up the room, she sighed at the cuteness.

He got up and she saw he had a tux on! "Liza Carly, will you make the happiest guy in the world and, go on a date with me?" Who could say no?

"I'd love to, Gabe is it?" He nodded and they both smiled. Gabby was jealous but happy for her BFF. He bowed and left.

When the girls got back in Liza's room they squealed. "I'm so happy for you! Please let me come on your first date!" Gabby said.

"Only if your at a distance", they laughed. Once they where in bed Liza got up to us the bathroom. She got a price of paper and wrote Gabe with hearts around it. Today was perfect!
