Chapter 4: Boys

When Friday came along Katie was jumping for joy. She got home and got changed to go to the movies with Brit when her phone BINGED. She checked and it said:

HI KATIE, IM BREKIN UP WITH U

What?! For one he dumped by text and two he spelt breaking wrong. Adam has great grammar! Katie curled up on the couch and cried. Brit came over a little later and southed her a little but it didn't help. "I hate boys" she said over and over.

Brit slept over but they didn't have fun until they did facials. It felt nice and she felt better. "Let's make a deal, we both ignore Adam and give him looks" Katie nodded. She wasn't that kind of person though...

"Did you hear? Katie and Adam broke up!" Liza said to Gabby.

"No way! I feel so bad. But I have to get ready for my date!" Said gabby throwing dresses all over her room. Finally the girls disided on a pink dress with fringes on the bottom. Gavin stopped by at at 5:00. They where just going to a action movie.

"Oh no! The movie has been canceled! I guess we will have to go to the horror" said Gavin. Gabby smiled but she got scared easy. Oh great!

They entered the movie theater. They sat at the back at the best view. When the guy jumped out of the closet gabby jumped making her hand hit Gavin's hand. He held her hand and leaned in closer...

"We kissed! It was like puppy's and rainbows good" said Gabby to Liza. "I'm going to-" her phone rang. She looked down. It read:

HI GABBY, HAD FUN AT THE MOVIE AND HOPE WE CAN GO OUT AGAIN. NEXT SATURDAY OK?

Gabby wrote back: SOUNDS GOOD

"Omg! Yay!" Said Gabby

"I'm so happy for you! Hey did you hear that Veda is going to be on the squad? Should we talk to her? She is new" blabbed Liza.

"Ya, let's call her" after looking her up in the phone book they dialed her number.

"Hello?" She awcered.

"Hi Veda! I'm Gabby and I'm on the squad, how would you like to go to get ice cream with Liza and I? I can meet you there"

"Sure! See you there!" The line went dead. "Well, let's go" said Gabby.

When they got there Veda waved hi. The girls waved hi back. They had a good time and where ready for the big game coming up...
