Chapter 3: First date

Gabe called and said he'd pick Liza up at 3:00, it's 2:45 and Liza waits. Gabby was planning on just siting in the next both.

When Gabes car pulled up, Liza hopped in. His car was a red trial blazer. "Sorry, my moms car." Liza just giggled and looked ahead.

"So, do you go to my school?" Liza asked after awhile.

"Ya, I'm in just turning 17" Liza and Gabby are both 15 so this is a little strange. But he's cute and it's just 2 years!

Gavin and his teacher are discussing grades. "Your not doing so great this year Gavin. I'm going to have to get you a tutor. My best student is... Gabby."

"Thank you miss. Tiff. I'll have to meet up with her later" Gavin said with a smile. Truly he was celebrating. Gabby was super cute and now cheerleader! His plan worked!

He met up with Gabby in the hall before lunch. "Hey Gabby! Can we talk?" Gavin called to her. She just turned around and smiled "sure" she said.

"So how would you like to come to my place and study today after school?" He bit his lip. Please say yes he thought.

"Sure! Math?" Gavin nodded. He was to shocked to speak. Gabby waved goodbye and Gavin walked to lunch. When he got there Tom said "good luck" but Gavin wasn't listening. He was thinking what kind of snacks to bring...

"Want to come to my house after school?" Brit asked Katie. They where at history.

"I'm sorry Brit, Adam is coming over and I only have 3 hours to get ready! What do you think, red or black dress?" Katie asked, trying to Change the subject.

"Red, how about tomorrow? I have time after practice." Brit said.

"Sure. What if we work on history? I have the killer assiment to do!" Katie said. Brit nodded and they turned there attention back to the teacher.

Gavin was at his house. "Chips or popcorn?" He asked out loud. "Both" he smiled at how smart he was. After he got his book out there doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" Gavin's mom said. Oh great! He invites the girl of his dreams and his mother has to go mess it up. "He's in the living room, make yourself at home" Gavin heard his mom say.

A minute later Gabby walked in. She smiled her amazing smile. "Have a seat" Gavin said. She sat down at the other end of the table.

"Ok, number... 14. What is x-y=14 if y=8?" Gavin was caught off guard but he quickly said "4" and Gabby shook her head. "Come on you know this!" Gabby said with an incurring smile.

"Um... 6?" He said like a question. Gabby nodded. "Great job!" Gabby took a chip and politely eat it. Gavin took one too.

When they where all done Gavin said "thanks for coming and this was fun!" Gabby smiled.

"Thanks for inviting and..." She pulled out a peace of paper "... Call me sometime" she handed him the paper. It was that easy? She waved bye and closed the door behind her. Gavin did a little dance and looked at the number, does this mean he had a girlfriend? He took out his phone and called Tom. Wait 'till he hears!

"Liza, you will never guess what happened!" Gabby called Liza once she got home.

"What? Are you ok?" She sounded worried!

"I gave Gavin my number and he smiled! I might have a boyfriend too!" The girls squealed (they do that a lot!). "I'll tell you more tomorrow at lunch. Bye!" She hung up and fell on her bed. "Best day ever!" She said to herself.

Adam came over to Katie's about 7:00. He was whereing a nice shirt and cakeis. His hair was messy but clean. He also had a rose! "Hi, I got this for you on my way here" he said and handed it to her.

"Omg! Thanks" she said and spelled it. "Should we get going?" After Adam nodded they left.

The restaurant was fancy and it had a fish tank next to there seat. There was a blue fish a gr- "what can I get you today?" The waitress interrupted her thoughts. She had red lip stick that looked like a baboon butt.

"I'll have fish with grapes on the side please" Katie said "same" said Adam. They where so alike it was scary! But Adam watched baboon butt walk away. Does he like her? "What a weirdo" he said. Maybe not...

After they finished eating Adam looked serious. "Katie, I really like you and I think that we should hang out more." Katie smiled and nodded. "I gotta go" he said and left. What the?...
