Groaning,Jeongguk moved to the side as his eyes slowly opened,adjusting on the lamp's light.
Then he felt a soft mattress,a pillow on his head and a blanket neatly placed in him.
'Where..Where am I?'He asks himself feeling confused as he can't remember going to bed,nor being at..His room?!
Jeongguk's eyes widened forcing himself to get up and look around the familiar surrounding.
Black and grey walls,small paintings and cozy dark combination of furnitures.He gasp.It is his room!
"F-Fuck!How did I-"
The door then opened."Alpha,You're awake."A warrior step inside holding a tray of food with a smile on it's lips.Feeling relief and happy at the same time seeing their alpha now awake.
His hand clutched onto his hair as he felt dizzy all of a sudden."Fuck!"He cursed again.His head starts to throb too so he slowly,pushed himself up and leaned his back on the headboard
closing his eyes after.
The warrior left the tray on the side table and immediately went to their pack leader who seemed to be in pain.Eyes were closed as he's groaning lowly.
"Alpha Jeon?Are you okay??"He asks with his eyes checking on Jeongguk as touching the alpha without consent is against the pack rules."S-Should I call the pack doctor alpha?"Again,He said.
Worried that Jeongguk might had a wound after he suddenly fainted yesterday.
"S-Shit!"The trueblood cursed clutching onto his chest this time feeling a sudden struck of pain hit him.Like his heart's crushing into pieces,making both sides howl in pain.
'Please,I-I'm tired..'
'H-Help me.'
'Just..TAKE ME!!'
'Mom...'
Jeongguk's eyes opened,Now blazing red as a familiar voice came to his mind.
The pain is still in there but he seemed to be stunned that he got up and listened to those words..that soothing voice speaking in his thoughts..Letting him feel what the person's feeling,thinking..
'Please,I-I'm so tired..'
'Why me?'
'Why of all the creatures out there,You still chose me?Why??Why moon goddess?'
'Am I cursed?Did you curse me??'
The longing,
The restlessness...The pain,
sorrow..
It's not from him..
'My mate'
All are from his mate.His destined.His other half.
"M-Mate!"Jeongguk snapped back to reality shouting only that word.An unexpected sign of relief,joy and many more emotions was shown on his face.
