Previously:
There was no way I'd win against him.
So, I made a plan.
I would wait and ambush him when he was off-guard, training myself and analyzing his strengths and weaknesses while I waited for the perfect opportunity to strike.
It was the perfect plan.
I'd spy on him at all times and never leave.
To put it plainly, I was his brand-new stalker.
After that day, I followed him everywhere.
And I discovered a veritable goldmine of information.
This list is but a portion of what I learned:
- He travels a lot (maybe ambush him on a path or something?)
- He has a curious object called a "Sheikah Slate" that allows him to teleport to these things called "shrines" and "towers" (maybe lie in wait for him there?)
- He helps people very often (that's some useful stuff, maybe take advantage of that)
- He is very kind to children (use that to his disadvantage)
- He is very handsome...
Woah, wait no, that's not allowed on the list. Cross that off.
- He is an excellent swordsman and great at a bow and arrow (that's not good)
- He appears to live alone (sneak attack when he's sleeping? No, that's just weird.)
- His home is on the outskirts of Hateno Village (even more possibility for sneak attack...)
Even though he was my enemy, I felt connected to him somehow.
Like I could trust him.
Which wasn't right.
Every time that thought crossed my mind, I would immediately punish myself for it.
I was a loyal soldier.
I would follow my protocol.
I would find a way to kill Link, no matter what was in my way.
Even if it turned out to be myself.
Ooh, some internal conflict about her target!
Poor girl, it wasn't her fault she's a Yiga.
They should be ashamed of themselves for sending out an apprentice on a suicide mission!
I know I made her and them, but is it weird I get defensive for her?
Against them?
Eh, whatever.
