Hello, lovelies!

The action and interaction finally begin to ramp up here, so stay tuned! :)

Previously:

Slowly, the garden around me slipped away to be replaced by a calm and peaceful sleep.

I woke, feeling at peace for the first time in weeks, then registered what I was seeing.

I was staring into the face of Link, the very person I was ordered to kill.

I was very freaked out, so I resorted to my instincts, jumping up and running to the nearest corner.

I know, I pretty much just cornered myself, but it was a Yiga technique, I had it under control.

I'm totally not panicking or anything.

Neither my Vicious Sickle, nor my Duplex Bow, nor even my Serpentine Spear was in sight.

I was unarmed in my enemy's territory.

Okay, now I have ample cause to panic.

I flattened myself against the wall and glared at Link, shooting daggers at him with my eyes.

But...

My glare faltered.

He was just sitting there.

He wasn't even armed.

Wait.

The fairy...

Did it come from him?

He stood up and walked over to me suddenly, causing me to put up my guard again.

I hadn't even noticed that I'd lowered my guard.

He stopped a few feet away and held up his hands, the universal sign of peace.

I glanced at them, then at his face.

He held out one of his hands slowly.

I looked at it for a moment, then slowly reached out and tentatively placed my hand in his, tense and ready to snatch it back at any moment.

He gently held my hand for a moment, then led me to the door.

I was very confused.

What in Hyrule is going on inside this guy's head?

Link opened the door, then let go of my hand and stepped back as if to say You're free to go.

I stepped cautiously outside, then turned and looked back.

"Where's my stuff?"

Link's eyes widened and he facepalmed before disappearing back inside.

I stood awkwardly at the door for a moment, wondering what was taking him so long.

He returned quickly, holding my weapons and stuff.

I smiled, forgetting that he couldn't see my face, then took the stuff, placing it back in its familiar holsters and pockets.

I turned to go, then turned back and spoke without thinking.

"Thank you, Link."

He smiled at me, his cheeks tinting pink.

I then turned and left, feeling my face start to burn and a strange fluttery feeling entering my stomach.

What is this strange feeling?

I thought as I traveled over the mountains.

What is happening to me?

My head was telling me to stop thinking about him because he was confusing me, but my heart was telling me to trust him because he had saved my life.

I had to choose.

Head or heart?

Heart or head?

If I had to go up against him someday...

Could I really kill him?

Poor Eve is conflicted...

What will she choose?

Peace Out lovelies!
