Athanasia pov :

When i first realised i was reborn as a princess, i was overjoyed.

Even if i was a forgotten princess, I was still a princess.

No work, Three meals a day, Nice dresses, Proper education and a palace.

It was the life that i dreamed of once.

But it was soon shattered when Lilian york, my nanny, informed me that

Claude de alger Obelia, the emperor of the Obelian Empire was my father and I was Athanasia de alger Obelia, the princess who dies a tragic death at her own father's hands.

Atleast, it is like that according to the book that i read in my past life,

I was scared stiff when i realised that, I cried and screamed in reluctance but ofcourse, for others, it was just a baby crying.

Which was completely normal.

But something was off.

In the original, Athanasia was supposed to have a pretty miserable life, as she was overly neglected.

But here, the palace was well funded and fitting for a princess, I always got the best.

Except for the fact that Claude doesn't bother with anything about me, It was the perfect life of a princess.

It wasn't supposed be like that.

Athanasia should be a forgotten princess, who gets overshadowed in everything by her sister and also the main character, Jennette Margarita.

Athanasia gets falsely framed by Jennette's aunt, for the crime of poisoning Jennette and gets executed unfairly.

And I also can't just sit here and do nothing just because i have everything right now, It all can be taken away without a moment's hesitation when Jeanette comes.

So, i am going to save a lot of money and run to a distant land when i grow enough.

But that's all for future, right now i have figure this out.

What went wrong? Why is it so different from the original? Who did it?

And How?

I think I've got a guess now.

Felix Robane, Claude's personal guard who is by his side 24/7.

In the original, Claude is always alone and doesn't let anyone stay by his side for long as he has trust issues.

Sure, Felix was also in the original book but he was a minor character who only appeared here and there as his guard.

I entered the seemingly empty palace for hiding my prettys but i got caught by emperor while checking if the angel statue was gold or not.

If it was how it is supposed to be, Claude would kick me out of his palace without hesitation.

Worst case scenario, i can die.

But just because Felix giggled a little and slightly helped me out, the emperor was willing to take me as a guest even though I trespassed in the emperor's palace.

It was very wrong from the perspective of the original book. But then, this is reality, and not an novel.

These were people, not mere characters.

Well, i guess we can only wait and see.

But first of all, i should manage to survive this situation right?

What's even going on?
