Felix walked across the garden and straight to the ruby palace. He was stupidified when he found out that the ruby palace had such a shortcut to the emperor's palace.
Nevertheless, he kept waking and found the ruby palace in utter chaos.
Maids and manservants scrambling here and there, panic evident in their faces. It was quite the sight.
"HeadMaid Lilian?" His voice mingled with the other servant voices as the maidservant shook, her body freezing before she looked in his direction and much to her terror, spotted the young princess cradled in his arms.
"Your highness Athanasia!" the woman looked relieved, nonetheless, and immediately scooped the girl into her arms, inspecting her for any wrongs.
The blue-eyed maid sighed in relief before she cast a sharp look towards the imperial guard who was standing there pitifully.
" Greetings, his majesty the emperor has ordered that the princess shall accompany him the coming thursday for a walk."
Felix informed the now shell-shocked maids and manservants alike.
' i mean, who wouldn't be shocked if the supposed father of the princess didn't mind her for 5 years since she was born and now suddenly wants to see her? Definitely not me or anyone for that matter. '
" y-yes, we'll see to it, Sir Felix." the head maid shakingly replied before dashing off with the rest of the servants and into the palace, leaving Felix standing there with the wind as company.

Felix was determind to have a talk with his majesty about this right now.
I mean like, after years of him pestering Claude to look after the princess properly, before Felix ultimately gave up, he decides to shock people now?!
All the days he practically begged the emperor to just see the princess was maybe being finally fulfilled?
Yeah, Felix knew that His Majesty was a shit of a father.
