As I was eating, Chris kept glancing at me a lot. Carly kept wiggling her eyebrows at Chris, and Chris kept telling her to stop or rolling his eyes.

I giggled and looked at James. He was talking to Bob about the patriots. Chris also butted in on their conversation. Then Bob started asking me questions.

"So, y/n, are you from around here?" Bob asks me.

"Yeah, I was born here in Boston and I've never left." I say.

"Nice, nice. When did you meet Chris?" He asks me.

"First day of school. So I think like 1 or 2 weeks ago? Yeah." I say.

"How?"

"I uh. S-someone pushed me o-off my b-bike and C-Chris helped m-me." I said.

"He helped you?" Bob asked.

"Mm-hmm." I say.

Chris looks at me. Im getting really nervous. . .

"When Chris went to the drive in movies last week, did you happen to be with him?" Bob asks.

Shit.

"Yeah she was, but I was with them too." James lies for me. Thank the gods.

"So, your not Chris's girlfriend?" He asks.

I get nervous and rub Chris's hand under the table.

"No dad, she's not." Chris says.

I hold his hand right under the table as his dad asks me questions.

"Dad, I think your making her uncomfortable." Chris stands up for me.

"I'm sorry." I say while looking down.

"No no it's okay, I'm sorry." Bob says.

"Alright while why don't you kids gets some sleep, maybe we can go out for breakfast tomorrow!" Lisa says.

"Yeah sure!" Chris says.

Chris let's go of my hand and we walk away with James. Right when we walked the corner, Chris held my hand again, but I think his mom say because when I looked back, she wiggled her eyebrows at me.

Me, Chris, and James walked upstairs and Chris held my hands while he looked into my eyes.

"Do we need to go home and grab your stuff?" He says.

"No, I have stuff, but just shorts and clothes for tomorrow." I say while showing him my bag.

He nods and shows me to his room.

It was big. It was decent. A regular teenage boys room.

I sat on Chris's bed, it was so comfortable. I couldn't wait to sleep on it with him.

He sat next to me and smiled.

"So love birds, I—"

"Keep it down James! You are gonna make my parents think we are dating!" Chris says.

"Then hurry up and date." James says.

I giggle and grabbed my shorts for bed. Chris looked at me and handed me one of his sweaters.

I walked to the bathroom and got changed. I got changed into Chris's sweater, and it smelt just like him.

I walked out and walked into Chris's room and he stared at me.

"You look so beautiful." He said, and I blushed.

"Do I have to be a third wheel?" James asks us, which makes me laugh.
