The next day at school, I was sitting in class watching Chris do English, since we had that class together.

"Alright. Pick your partners." Mr. Cohen said.

Chris looked over at me, and that at his best friend James.

"Go man, choose her." James said.

Chris walked over to me and sat down next to me. James smirked at us and walked away to be partners with someone else.

I helped Chris with the fill in the blanks and it was fun, he was really funny.

"Hey, wanna skip next period with me and go to the diner down the street." He said.

"I don't know Chris. Unlike you I don't break the rules." I giggled.

He chuckled and gave me puppy dog eyes. God he was such a dork.

"Please?" He asked one more time.

"Chris, I don't wanna get in trouble." I said.

He looked at the desk.

"Fine. Only because I don't want you to get in trouble." He said, and I giggled.

"Alright students, what did you all get for number one?" Mr. Cohen asked.

He was a cool teacher, the kind that got us teenagers.

Me and Chris were whispering to each other and not paying attention.

"Ahem. Mr. Evans And Miss. y/l/n. Let me in on the gossip." He said, and everyone looked at us.

We both laughed and he went back to teaching.

After school I saw Chris with the rest of the football team for practice.

I waited for him on the bleachers cause he liked to walk me home. He saw me and smiled, which made me blush.

After practice I went up to him and his friends.

"H-hey Chris. A-are you ready." I asked him.

He looked at his friends who gave him a smirk.

"Yep, once second beautiful." He said, and I blushed hard.

He noticed and chuckled. He got out of his stuff and we left.

I couldn't help but think if he meant it. If I was really beautiful.

"Did you mean that?" I asked him.

"Mean what?"

"You called me beautiful. Is it true?" I said turning to him.

He looked at me up and down and smiled. He put my hair behind my ear.

"Of course I did."

I smiled and we kept walking. I got to my house. Shit. Oh my god.

"Chris you need to leave. Now." I say.

"Why?"

My mom glares at us. "Chris. Leave. I'm sorry I'll explain everything on text just—"

"It's about time you got a boyfriend." My dad said.

What the hell was going on.

"H-he's not my boyfriend Dad." I said. "I'll see you later Chris, alright?"

"Yeah, see ya." He said as he left.

I went up to my dad.

"Your not mad?" I ask them.

"Of course not. As long as he's good for you." My mom said.

"He's not my boyfriend though." I said.

"Not yet." My mom teased.
