"No way.. it just ended like that?!"
says the girl as she gasps in dissapointment at the ending of the book she newly got from her new friend, Miriam, as she also loves books and introduced her to this new genre of novels, that she already seems to love.

"Damn it.. always the sudden plot twists.."
she says as she swings her feet, looking up, admiring the blue starry sky shining above her, it was a sight you wouldn't wanna miss each night, and she made sure not to.
She puts the book on her lap and hands behind her head, closing her eyes to breathe in some air and comprehend what she just read, fangirling about specific parts she loved most, silently in her head.
It won't hurt to stay a little longer today.. the forest looks extra pretty today.
She thought to herself.

Suddenly, the sound of faint footsteps arose which causes her to open one eye immediately. No one comes around these parts of the woods, is it an animal?
Or maybe her knight in shining armor finally introducing himself in her life?!
Yeah, right.
In my dreams.
She thought to herself once again.
She was debating with herself whether she should get up and check it out, make a run for it, or pick the easier option, which is stay in place and shake it off her shoulder.
I mean, who wouldn't like to rest longer on a night like this?
As she silently giggles at how she speaks to herself in these situations, her eyes slowly close without realising that she's got a bit too comfortable, causing her to fall asleep.
Off to dreamland..

..

"h.."
..
"...ey!"
..
"..HEY!!"
The girl's eyes suddenly burst open in shock, almost falling down from her spot.

"What do you think you're doing up there?!"
Says a familiar face as they look up to where she was laying down comfortably, a tree.

"Trust me, it's more comfortable than you think.."
The girl says as she yawns slightly, taking a glance at the sky and realising it's still dark out.
"You woke me up from my nap.."

"Well get up sleeping beauty, cause I don't think you should be sleeping in a tree with a bee's nest right under you."
Says Miriam's Sister, Nadia, as she looks down with the girl's eyes following her, eyes going wide.
She screams and jumps down immediately, almost injuring herself.

"I swear that wasn't there yesterday??"

"You sure you weren't just too sleepy to notice it?"
Nadia laughs.

"No! I would've at least heard their buzzing sounds!"

"Well, at least you're not full of bee stings. what are you doing here at night anyway? Isn't it dangerous?"

"Oh, I was-"
She tries to continue before getting interrupted by someone loudly yelling.

"Nadia!!!"
Says Miriam, running over to the two.
"Oh hey there! You're here too little one?"

"I thought we agreed not to use that nickname anymore.."

"I said no promises."
She laughs.

"I can't with you! Anyway, what are you guys doing here?"

"Shouldn't we be the one asking you that? We're a pair, you're here alone in the dark woods!"
Says Miriam.

"I come here everyday! I can take care of myself too y'know."
Says the girl proudly

"Says the girl who was sleeping over a bee's nest a moment ago.."
Says Nadia silently.

"she was what?!"

"Ah."
Nadia says as she makes a face that you'd make when you know you just started trouble.

"She said a HAY nest, don't worry Miriam."

"How would hay make it here?"

"I brought it over of cours-"

"Are you lying to me?"
Miriam says with a sudden serious look, staring into her soul.

The girl hesitates for a second before trying to speak without making a mistake.
"Why would I ever lie to you? And you still haven't told me why you're here!"

"We decided to take a night stroll."
Says Nadia, trying to break the tension with any way.
"I heard this forest is filled with beautifully fireflies at this time of night! Why don't we go check them out all together?"

"What a great idea! Let's go!"
Says The girl going along with Nadia to make an escape.

"Sure I guess, why not!"
Miriam says before running to catch up with the two, as they all walk towards a pack of beautiful fireflies.

"My god.. I didn't know they'd be THIS beautiful! This is amazing!"
Says Miriam with admiration in her eyes, looking at the bright lights around her.

"Actually looks like how bright your eyes shined, when we first met in the sun."

"Ooo, what's this all of a sudden? Finally got the courage to say how attractive I am?"

"I'm never complimenting you again"

"Hey I was joking!!"
She giggles.

..

"You guys realise I'm still here, right? Am I a third wheel.."
They both burst laughing as Nadia looks down, whispering "when's my turn universe.." which makes them laugh even harder.

It was now almost sunset, they found a very large tree and agreed to watch the sunrise together since it was already almost time.
Although, maybe they didn't have enough energy for it.. Becuase the two siblings fell asleep. the girl, on the other hand, is used to nights like these, so it wasn't something hard for her.
She was admiring the scenery around her as she waited for the sun to rise just to the right altitude.
Meanwhile, Nadia and Miriam asleep on the floor. the girl takes a moment to admire them, and thoughts in her head included how adorable she finds it when humans fall asleep like this.
Although, she felt a pain In her heart when looking at them. she couldn't help but feel sad that moments like these won't last forever..

As the sun rises and the sky appears golden, some parts pink, the girl immediately starts shaking the two trying to wake them up, to show them the beautiful view.

The two wake up from their slumber, one energetic to see the view and one still half-asleep. They all admire the view together while standing up, stretching out their bodies.

What a night. They all thought to their selves.
