"Oh my god! You can't make a tent to save your life!"
Says the girl laughing as she turned in shock, seeing how Miriam failed miserably at making a tent for them to sleep in for the night.
"Let me show you how it's done."
She says before putting her hands over Miriam's, guiding her correctly, making a better tent that's secured tightly.

"Show off!"
Miriam says jokingly as They both laugh.
"So what's this called again? A sleep night?"

"Pfft- Sleepover."

"Ah. Right.
And what do we do exactly? Sleep over each other?"
Says Miriam, genuinely confused.

"Hey! Phrase that correctly! And it's basically spending time together for a night!"

"Aww, only a night?"

"Oh Shut up."
She says as she laughs
They both start settling in the tent, proud of their word and how cute it turned out.
The tent was simple yet elegant, had a few pillows set up that make the person laying on it very comfortable they'd fall asleep in an instant.
The girl had a few fairy lights stored in the storage from when she had a big party for her parents during their anniversary, and they both agreed to put them up to add some extra detail, it was a great idea!
Since they've both been into reading since they've met, they decided to also bring some books over, to do some fun pair activities with them.
Those activities included both of them bringing over a book they haven't read before yet, and they would switch, reading them and writing notes until they are done with it, then they'd exchange again and read it experiencing what the other also felt while reading it. They both were super excited for that special idea and finally found a suitable day to do it.

"Before we begin our wonderful night, I actually wrote a list of ideas we can do today!"
Says the girl, grabbing a paper with an organized list on it.

"You did?! I did too!"
They both gasped, surprised by the coincidence, and laughed together.

"Well, the more ideas the better!"

They decided to start off with chess that they'd borrowed from Miriam's Parents, a few weeks back they actually asked them to teach them, as they were interested in the board game.
It took a few tries, but they got the hang of it.

To make it more interesting, they added a penalty for whoever loses.
The loser would get slapped anywhere on their body by the winner.

At first, they both kept getting tied and no one won, until the girl started taking the lead, winning a few times.

"Not again..
If only this was the circles one, I would've beat you in a flash!"
Says Miriam Dissapointed.
"Since when were you so good?!"

The girl giggles.
"I practiced specially for this. That's also why I picked this version.
Your face this time ma'am!"

"You're enjoying this way too much.. are you sure you don't secretly hate me?"
Says Miriam as she gets closer to her face saying that last sentence, making the girl startled by the sudden move, her face suddenly turns a bit red.

"Your tricks don't work on me anymore, just give me your face."

"You sure they don't? You're as red as a strawberry. And I already did!"
Says Miriam pleased by her reaction, like each time.

"Soon these slaps will be getting harder if you don't stop."

"That's what she said"

"Wh- where'd you learn that?!"

"Oh? You know the meaning? Didn't expect that one."
Says Miriam Laughing.

The girl then gets in a ready stance to slap Miriam, pretending that she's gonna hit her very hard at first, but then does it gently just as her hand reaches Miriam's Face, it almost seemed as if she was caressing her face rather than slapping her.

"You flinched! Ha! Got you."
Says the girl laughing.

..

A few hours later, they were now doing each other's hair before they moved on to the book activity.
The girl was doing Miriam's hair first.

"Woah.. your hair is so smooth.. what's your secret?"

"Genes?"

"God has favourites.."
The girl says jokingly, as she slowly puts Miriam's hair in her goal hairstyle, it was turning out well!

"Soooo.. when do I get to see it?"

"When I'm finished. Be patient."

"But you're taking so long!"

"I said be patient! I'm almost done!"

"You said that thirty minutes ago."
Says Miriam. The girl could feel her glare from behind her even though they couldn't see each other's faces.

The girl laughs.
"I'm serious this time.. There! Done!"
She says as she grabs a little mirror from the bed table and hands it over to Miriam.
"Thoughts?"

"Gotta admit.. you're good! I like it."

"I know."
Says the girl laughing as Miriam pushes her slightly, also laughing.

It was now Miriam's turn to do the other's hair, they switched positions, so Miriam would be facing the girl.

As Miriam started gently Holding the girl's hair, she could feel how flustered the girl was by her hands touching her.
"Have you never had someone do your hair?"

The girl was startled by the sudden question.
"My parents did, but it's the first time someone I knew out of family did.
You should feel special."

"More like you should! It seems you even like it being done by me."
She says in a rather new tone.

"Where did I put my slipper again?"

"Okay okay I'm sorry!"
Says Miriam as she bursts out laughing.

They both had very gorgeous hairstyles now, and both liked their hair very much.
Seems both of them were good with their hands.

..

It was now almost 4 am, and both were almost done reading each other's books.
Every now and then, one would hear the other gasp at lines they've read in the book, and they'd both have a little talk about how excited they are to see what the other is gasping about or making faces for.
And as they expected, it was really fun for the both of them!
They did not regret a single moment of trying this idea, and both agreed that they'd try it again.

After they were done, it was around 6 am, as the books were really long, but they managed to finish both books efficiently.
By that time, they were already dozing off and trying hard not to close their eyes, but seems both of them failed.

Later on, The girl's mother walks in smiling at the sight in front of her, of both the girls hugging each other unconsciously in sleep.

What a cute and wonderful night it was.
