Chapter Six

Jordan quickly fell asleep after admitting his crush on me. That definitely woke me up. I didn't sleep at all after that. I couldn't even try, my mind was filled with too many thoughts.

After he had woken up, he brought me back home where I finally slept.

Monday lunch rolled around, and we were outside. I sat by some popular girls, again. They were really nice to me, and helped me get through my problems.

"So, who do you like?" Ally asked me. She was really nice, her cute curly brown hair made me smile. I laughed at her commonly asked question.

"Nobody right now, actually. Why?" I asked back. She giggled before answering.

"Everyone is talking about how Jordan is going to ask you to prom!" She shrieked. I laughed and gave her a confused look. She squealed before I felt two hands on my shoulders. I turned around to see Jordan behind me.

Ally wiggled her eyebrows before laughing some more. He bent his legs far enough so he was at my level, then whispered in my ear:

"We need to talk. In private."

I got up and followed him, glancing back at the giggling girls. He stopped and I bumped into him, still looking back.

"Hey, um, can I ask you something?" He asked. My heart raced and my stomach got all weird-feeling. Was he going to really ask me? No, he would never. I need to stop being an idiot.

"Yeah, sure, anything!" I replied a bit too happily. He gave me a weird look before continuing.

"I, uh, you're creative, right?" He asked. I nodded my head, not quite sure I liked where this was going.

"I need your help." Jordan said while looking at the ground. I motioned with my hands for him to go on.

"IwanttoaskAllytoprom" he spoke way too fast for me to understand what he said right away. When it hit me, it hit me like a damn bus.

"I-um-I can't h-help." I spoke quickly while stuttering. His whole facial expression dropped as soon as I said that.

"Come on Mol. I need this. I want this." His voice started to pick up."Can you get your head out of your ass and help me for once?" I flinched from his sudden raise in voice.

"I'm leaving." I replied before I walked away, passing the table I previously sat at. They looked at me with confusion before continuing with their meals.

I could not look at Ally. She was so nice and innocent, but a pang of jealousy hit me whenever I saw her. She can have something I want.

Wait, I don't want Jordan. I would rather stab someone. Well obviously you do want him, otherwise you wouldn't feel these ways.

I walked back into the school before going to the nurses office and complaining about not feeling well. She sent me home without checking my temperature or anything.

I went and cried myself to sleep, while being cuddled up with a bucket of red velvet ice cream. It was just a matter of time before I fell into a dream land.

There we were, me and Ally. Or would it be Ally and I? Anyways, we were facing each other, Mortal Kombat style. We fought to the death, best two out of three. I won, and the fatality scene played through my head, which consisted of me ripping her apart limb from limb.

Okay, my brother and I have been playing way too much of the Mortal Kombat X story mode.

But anyways, after I finished the scene, I was rudely woken up by Jordan trying to get under my covers.

I lay there and try to act like I'm still sleeping to see what would happen. I guess I wanted to see what his intentions were.

"Isn't she beautiful?" My mom came into the room and asked.

"Gorgeous," he replied. "I have no idea of what I would do without her."

I guess it's a good thing that I'm not facing them because my face is as red as a rose or something.

He left soon after like nothing had happened, and I got ready to go to school, where today we learn to dance the most amazing dance, in my opinion. Salsa.
