Chapter Four

"Go pick out something fancy to wear." Jordan instructed. I sat on my bed for what felt like forever before Jordan walked over to my closet. He picked out a dress I had only worn once in front of him.

"Remember the semiformal that the school had last year?" He asked me while holding the strapless dress.

"Haha, yeah. I went with your best guy friend and you went with Jamie." I said. That dance made me really sad because Jordan was so into her, it was disgusting. That, and we didn't get to slow dance together.

"And you wore this dress, and it made me flustered. I had to go into the bathroom and throw up because of the thought of you and Ryan." Jordan said while messing with the light pink ruffles on the dress.

"Yeah, well it wasn't much better for me."

"I remember you were crying on Ryan's shoulder and you never told me why."

"I was obsessed with you, and you were obsessed with her. That kinda ruined my self esteem and my perfect night." I sighed, looking at the ground.

"Wait, are you serious?" He asked, lifting my chin up to look into his green eyes.

"It sounds weird and pathetic, but yeah."

"Well, now you have me," Jordan spoke softly. "and I promise I will never leave."

"Alright Jordan, I believe you." I said. He then started taking off my clothes before putting the dress on me. I fixed the belt around my waist before he took my hand.

"Mom? I'm taking Mollie out, she needs it." Jordan said. He liked to call my mom that rather than by her name. She agreed and told him not to keep me out too late, and anything after 11 to just stay at his house. I agreed and we left.

Jordan walked me over to his house where he got ready. He put on a black short sleeve shirt, a black and white plaid shirt over it, and black ripped skinny jeans.

He then let me use his bathroom to touch up my makeup with products I brought in a clutch. I then borrowed his mom's hair curler that she barely used to curl my medium length blonde hair. After I looked presentable, I went out to see Jordan.

He looked absolutely handsome. Why am I doing this? I always come crawling back to the ones I love after everything they've done. He's done so much wrong, but now I find myself stunned to be in his presence.

"J-Jordan... You look... Wow..." I barely managed to get the words out. He smiled then I looked to the ground.

"You're gorgeous, Mol. We should get going, but first, go stand in front of that white wall." He said. I didn't question it, I just did it.

Jordan pulled out a camera and took a few pictures of me with his Polaroid camera. I laughed at how Tumblr he was sometimes. After he was done, he hung them up. I laughed and put on my heels before we walked to his truck.

"Are you ready, babe?" He asked me. His words had such power. Maybe I'm just under his spell, just like everyone else.

We left and went to a local Apple Bees, but I was expecting more fancy.

"Wow, I feel way too dressed up for this place!" I said. Jordan laughed and smiled at me.

"At least you look great. Do you know why we're here?"

"This was the first place we ate together a year ago? Wait, Jordan, you remembered? Oh my God..." I said, completely shocked at his memory.

"No, I just really like Apple Bees..." He said awkwardly. I laughed a little and we went into the venue.

"Hello, I'm Erin and I will be your waitress this evening. Could I get you any drinks to start out?" I smile politely at the older lady.

"Two Sprites, please." Jordan said.

"No, one Sprite and one raspberry iced tea, please." I smiled at Jordan.

"Coming right up!" Erin smiled at Jordan. I mentally sighed but ignored it.

"Since when do you get iced tea?" He asked me, visibly shocked.

"I don't know, I just feel like drinking tea." I smiled. He laughed a little and then the waitress came back.

"Are you ready to order?" She asked Jordan more so than me.

"Yes, Mol, you ready?" I nodded. "Alright, I'll have this Three-Cheese Chicken Penne, and the lady will have the..."

"Oriental Chicken Salad, please."

"What would you like as your free appetiser?" She asked.

"Mozzarella Sticks, please." Jordan said.

"Okay, I'll be right back, cutie." And the waitress winked at Jordan. My face heated up and Jordan smiled at me.

"Out of all the times we've been out for dinner, you've never ordered a salad, let alone get jealous when someone tries to flirt with me." Jordan laughed at me. As the waitress came back I grabbed his hand.

"Don't be so silly, babe. You know I'm not like that. Are we going to lay in the back of your truck tonight and watch the stars? It's so warm, 40° fahrenheit. I just want to cuddle with you, baby." I said in the most flirty way possible while playing with his large hands. The waitress got pissed and spilled someone's pitcher of water on me.

"Oops, sorry about that!" She said and winked at Jordan.

"Oh, I'm sorry, are you on a date with my boyfriend right here? No? Then what right do you have to intrude on our date. I want a new waitress or waiter, hopefully someone respectful." I said, kinda making a huge scene. The manager walked over.

"Excuse me, miss, what seems to be the problem?" The manager asked me.

"This worker intentionally dumped a full pitcher of water on me and spent the whole time flirting with my boyfriend, rather than giving us service." I said. He turned to the waitress and started scolding her.

"Mollie, let's just go..." Jordan whispered in my ear, and we left. I was freezing and dripping wet, not a good combination.

However, the night is not over.
