Prompt used: "I'd do anything for you"
You were shocked as your boyfriend threw you out of his car after another argument ensued between you two about your job and the relationship you had with some of them. You tried to calm yourself down as you pulled your phone out and scrolled trying to remember who was in town and who wasn't until you came across his name and pressed the call.
"Hi sweetheart, what do I owe the pleasure of getting a call from you?" He asked.
"Pat...is there any way you can come pick me up?" You asked on the verge of tears instantly waking him up.
"Sweetheart, what happened?" He asked picking up on your voice.
"We got into a fight and he um threw me out of his car on the side of the road and it's starting to rain..I'm sorry for calling but..." You said as the tears slid down your cheeks.
"Don't apologize, sweetheart, can you send me your location?" He asked as you turned on your location for him to see.
"Okay sweetheart, I see there's a diner close by I want you to go wait in there for me, okay? I should be there in ten or less." He said as you heard him grabbing his keys.
"Okay." You said hanging up once you reached the diner.
Once inside the diner one of the waitresses took you straight to a booth and brought a cup of hot chocolate on the house and asked if you needed to call anybody but once you thank her and explained that someone was coming, she nodded and went on her way.
It had been a few minutes when the same waitress came over only Pat was with her who engulfed you in his arms once she left, and that's when you broke down into tears.
"It's okay sweetheart, I'm here now." He said rubbing your back, taking notice of how cold you were.
"Here I figured you didn't have a jacket, so I brought you one." He said hanging you a hoodie.
"Thank you for doing this." You said slipping the hoodie on and feeling instantly warmer.
"You know I'd do anything for you, sweetheart. Do you want anything to eat while we were here?" He asked as you shook your head no.
"I wanna get some sleep. Is it alright if I stay with you tonight?" You asked him once you were in his car.
"You don't even have to ask sweetheart." He said placing a kiss on your hand and you thought about how you were gonna break up with your boyfriend tomorrow.
