Chapter 5

"So this is about the Fatui?" Andrius asked, laying on down. "Yes, they've recently attacked Mondstadt, and we came to check on you," Eula informed. "That's very kind of you, Captain Eula. Was this your idea?" The wolf asked. Eula nodded and he dipped his head in respect.

"Then again, I thank you. But you needn't worry about me, for I shan't allow myself to be beaten nor tricked by the Fatui again." "Of course, but please. If you ever need help then do not hesitate to ask for it." Lumine added. "I will keep that in mind, traveler."

Lumine nodded and you stared at Andrius, circling him. "Is something the matter?" The wolf snarled, glaring at you. "No. You're just very pretty." You hummed, squinting slightly. "PRETTY? I am not pretty, I am a majestic beast you can rip you limb from limb!!" He barked, facing you angrily. 

"I'm sorry, you look very intimidating today. The blue matches you very well." You smiled kindly, patting his nose. He looked at you in surprise and pinned back his ears slightly, looking away with embarrassment and anger.

You sighed and walked into your new home, looking around. You knew Kaeya was here because his shoes were by the door, but you didn't see him anywhere. "Kaeya?" You called out. "Whaaat?" He shouted grumpily. He must be in the bedroom.

You took off your shoes and ran your hands through your hair, walking over to the bedroom and leaning on the doorway. You saw Kaeya reading while laying on his stomach and using the pillows as a "stand" for the book, flipping through the pages angrily.

"You okay?" You giggled, walking over to him. He grumbled quietly and you laid next to him, pressing your shoulder up against his. "Whatcha reading?" You asked. "A book.." He mumbled. "What kind of book?" You poked his cheek teasingly and he turned away.

"Oh come on, don't be like that!" You laughed, grabbing his arm. He yelped in surprise and you flipped onto your back, placing his head on your chest and humming in satisfaction, closing your eyes. He blinked in surprise and bit his lip sadly, holding onto you and digging his face into the crook of your neck.

"Are you jealous~" You teased. "Me? Jealous?" He grumbled as you ran your hands through his hair slowly. His face turned red and he stuffed his face into your chest with embarrassment.

You sighed profoundly and Kaeya listened to your heartbeat, smiling softly. "Are you alright, love?" You hummed. "Yea.." He mumbled. "Are you sure? What do you want to do tonight?" "I wanna hang out.." "Oh? Where?" "I dunno.." "Would you like to go walk around Mondstadt and do random shit?" You asked.

He looked up and thought for a moment before nodding. "Alright then! But- let's stay like this for a while." You yawned, holding onto him. "Yea.." The pirate cooed in agreement.

You grabbed onto Kaeya's hand and snickered, running away as the two of you pranked yet another random citizen. "That was so mean!" You laughed, grabbing onto your boyfriend's hands. "It was your idea!" He giggled, pressing his forehead against yours.

"There they are!" A knight shouted. You and Kaeya looked over to see three knights running towards you. "CMON!" You whispered, dragging him through the alleyways. The two of you were in casual clothes, so it was easy to mistake you for random people in the dark. And it was very dark._.(its nighttime:'D)

You darted behind stores and houses, dodging cats and the occasional person in the alley, and hid behind a few barrels beside a wall. The two of you panted and listened to the knights walk by. "Quiet!" Kaeya shushed, stifling his laughs. "You be quiet!" You giggled, pressing your hand against his mouth. He snorted and the two of you looked at each other with fear, vibrating in laughter.
