Courthouse Blues

Waving at the officer outside Savannah room he decided to spend the afternoon with Savannah. he learned that she loves scary movies and music and apparently she loved Scooby doo because that's all they showed on the tv in the room which she loved. She loved Oreos. and hot fries so Buck went to the vending machine and got Oreos. There was only one correct way to eat them and Buck wasn't doing it correctly. He had a lesson in Oreos that afternoon. Buck told Savannah about Maddie and they talked about Eddie and Chris. It was a great afternoon as she started feeling hot side effects of the sedative so Buck tried to put her hair in a braid because she hated her hair up. As Buck is struggling to do this simple braid a nurse came in with Savannah dinner. saw the disaster in front of her and decided to help.

" Dads never know what they are doing." The nurse says as she fixes the braid for Savannah

" Not my dad. No, not her dad." They both said simultaneously

" Oh okay sorry well here you go miss, Davis your dinner." the nurse says as she walks away.

Buck and Savannah look at each other not wanting to laugh but they both end up laughing.

" Lets see what they brought you today?" Buck says as he opens the tray to see a brown blob.

" I think it's like steak or something. Gross'' Savannah says as she lays back down in her bed.

" At least eat the mashed potatoes and I'll go see if they have at least a sandwich in the cafeteria or something. be right back." Buck says as he walks out the room.

As he made his way into the cafeteria. he heard someone yell for help behind him as he turned around he saw a woman on the floor as he ran to help. As he scanned the women for trauma and or blood. He didn't see any. As he helped her up he asked if there was anything he could do to help her but as she turned around to walk away he could swear he had seen her somewhere. But he just thought he probably passed her in the hospital. As he finally gets to the Cafeteria he looks through the racks of food. He finally found a sandwich. Gross and probably dry but he needed Savannah to eat so as he continued down the aisle he found hot fries to complete the meal.

As he was walking back he saw Savannah doctor he seemed like he was up to something. But as Buck walked to the room he decided to text Eddie to tell him he was almost ready once he got Savannah to eat.

EDDIE: Ok i'm on my way. Be there soon. How is she doing?

BUCK: she is doing better. It's been a hard couple of days.

When Buck got back to the room he found Savannah asleep. He checked her vitals and they were normal. Heart rate was relaxed. He assumed she was asleep, he didn't want to push her but she needed to eat. But as he shook her to wake her up to eat. She refused saying, " Enough sleep, good." she says in her sleep.

So Buck waits for Eddie to get here as he watches her sleep. He hopes she is safe and that she knows he genuinely cares. So he speaks it out into the universe. " Hey Sav I hope you know I want the best for you even if that isn't with me." Buck says when a hand touches his shoulder. Looking up he finds Eddie.

" So I'm guessing she fell asleep before she ate her sandwich from the locks of it." Eddie says

" Yes, I came back and she was asleep.'' Buck says as he runs his hand through her hair.

" Maybe she was tired. Hanging out with you for a day can do that to a person. we should head to the house before the hospital gets mad at us. We need to finalize the stuff for the house and we have no clothes or stuff. You gave all your stuff to Albert. And well we don't have enough to move into a house with. But leave Savannah a note so she doesn't think something happened" Eddie says
