As the sun peeked through the trees. Driving into the neighborhood they pass all the nice houses with perfect lawns and nice flowers all over the front yard. As Buck looked out the window and then back to Christopher and Savannah he could tell they were both nervous maybe for completely different reasons.
Christopher was looking out the window at all the kids in their yards and Savannah was putting her hand out the window letting the air flow through her fingers. As they approached the house.
" We are almost there," Eddie said as he continued driving.
" Are you two excited?" Buck asked the kids.
" Yes!" They both said.
" We are here."
The beautiful gray house with white trim and big trees and a large yard. It was great.They could make a new start here the 4 of them. It would be fantastic for them to feel safe again and for Savannah to get the support and stability she deserves. As they jumped out of the car they couldn't wait to run in and see the rest.
" Savannah and Chris go pick out your rooms. And start thinking about how to decorate it." Buck says as the kids walk up the steps inside.
As Buck and Eddie just take in the neighborhood. They could see the many different styles in the houses for the people that occupied them. One yard had a gorgeous garden. The next was full of lawn gnomes. They couldn't wait to meet the neighbors.
" Hey babe whats wrong?" Buck asked Eddie.
" Nothing, I just feel like I can breathe for the first time in a while. And I can't wait to decorate our house." Eddie says smiling as he kisses his boyfriend.
" Me either and I know it will be great for all of us." Buck says as he walks up the steps
Walking into the empty house that is now an empty canvas for them to explore. They had a chance at a new start. So they went to explore too. Looking at how much space they had.
" Papa, I picked my room. Come look." Christopher says as he pulls Buck by the arm leading him to the empty room.
" Hi Eddie, come see I want this one." she says as they walked up the stairs. I like the light." Savannah tells Eddie as he walks into the room.
" Sure Sav. How are you going to decorate it? " Eddie says
" probably with a bunch of movie posters." Savannah says
" Sounds like a plan. I know this place has a bunch of vintage ones." Eddie says
" Oh cool, can't wait to go look. Thank you. I know i said it before but seriously thank you." Savannah says
" Come here"- he says as he hugs Savannah. " I know you don't have to keep telling us but if it makes you feel better we will take it." Eddie says as he lets go of Savannah.
" Let's go see where Buck and Chris are. Maybe we can go look for some small things to start decorating the house.And maybe start looking for furniture, we have to start from the beginning." Eddie says
" Ok..let's go." Savannah agreed as they walked around the rest of the house.
As they walked around the house to find Buck and Chris. They took in the smell of the new house, the warmth they already felt was so nice. As Eddie turned to see Savannah simply running her fingers against the wall and the banisters on the staircase as they walked down the stairs to find Buck and Christopher.
As they walked into the kitchen they found Buck and Christopher laying in the backyard. They were just making grass angels in the grass.
" Hey you guys are going to get so dirty with the grass stains." Eddie says as he pulls Buck up on his feet.
