*Daya's POV*

Luke looked at me worriedly, "You sure?"

"Luke, you promised!" I groan.

He's been procrastinating on telling the boys and Liz.

"Why are you so nervous?" I mumbled.

"Because, what if my mom makes you live somewhere else because she thinks we'll have sex and what if the guys start flirting with you. I j-"

"Lucas Robert Hemmings. Chill the fuck out! You can't be such a worry wart! Gosh, you remind me of myself."

"Oh, you're a worry wart? You don't act like it."

"She always was the chill one, I guess it rubbed off of me," I shrugged and he grasped my hand.

"Good," the boy led me into the den.

Everyone sat at the couch at the notice of Luke.

"Uhm, we need to tell you guys something."

Everyone stared at us. I still held Luke's hand tightly and stood behind him slightly.

"What's wrong hon?" Liz stood immediately.

"I, uhm, I'm dating Daya now. Is that okay? Will she be able to stay with us still?" Luke spoke quickly.

Everyone howled and hooted with laughter.

"What? This is a serious matter!" Luke remarked.

"Honey, I don't care if you're dating Daya. I actually thought you two were dating anyways!" Liz laughed and walked into the kitchen.

Luke's mouth stood a gaped and he stomped his foot.

"We've been waiting forever for you to make it official! Jesus, Luke. It was completely obvious," Michael slapped his knee in humor.

A fit of giggles came out of my mouth and I couldn't help myself think Luke's childish antics were adorable.

"It's alright, Lukey!" Ashton babbled.

"Hey! Just, ugh!" Luke let go of my hand and walked off.

"Guys!" I laughed.

"Sorry, Day. You don't know how long we had to deal with him talking about you nonstop! He was like Cal and M-her," Michael stated.

"At least, I asked her before she passed," Calum said sadly.

Before I could say anything, Ashton spoke up, "Let's not talk about the past right now, huh? Daya, why don't you go comfort your baby boyfriend."

I shook my head at their childish selves and walked to where he most likely ran off too: his bedroom.

"Lucas?" I questioned.

He sat on top of his bed, holding a pillow and staring at the ceiling.

"You okay?"

"I'm fine. I just didn't think it would be this easy," Luke glanced at me and patted the empty spot next to him, "Lay with me."

"Wow, I didn't think we'd move this quick," I smirk and lie next to him.

He immediately pulled me closer and chuckled, "Tomorrow we can get married."

"Perfect," We both convulsed into quiet laughter and I cuddled closer, "I'm cold, boyfriend."

"Well, girlfriend, let's get under the covers."

"But what if your mom walks in and thinks we are woohooing?"

"What the hell is woohooing?" Luke snorted.

"It's doing the do."

"Oh, she won't think so. From the past few months, she knows you'll beat me up if I push you or anything. "

"Cute," I paused and beamed up at him.

"What?"

"You're so much cuter up close," I can't believe I can finally say it now!

Instead of saying anything, he lowered his face towards mine with our noses almost touching. His breath was minty and I slowly closed my eyes, taking in the smell. Luke took that chance and gently pushed his lips on mine. He gently kissed me as if I were glass and it made me giggle.

"What? Is something wrong? Does my breath smell?" Luke pulled away worriedly.

"No, no. I just think it's funny how gentle you are. It's a cute."

His worried face succumbed to a smile. The whole look was captivating. I didn't think someone would smile at me like that.

"Put me down! Lucas!" I said repeatedly as I banged my fists against his back.

Luke and I were at a park and out of the blue, he threw me over his broad shoulders. He followed the trail they had that led into a small patch of forest. Luke poked me on my side and I squirmed.

"Stop moving or else you'll fall!" He warned and I began to chortle at his worries again.

I'm pretty sure we were attracting attention now and some people looked at us with disdain, some with happiness.

"Please, put me down. I'll kiss you!" I shouted down at him.

Why didn't I think of that in the first place?

"That's what I've been waiting for, Daybe!" Luke squatted and wrapped his arms around me. He then spoke shyly, "I'm gonna have to touch your butt. Is that okay?"

"That's fine. I just want to be down from up here!"

He placed a hand on my lower back and the other on my butt. Luke then swiped me into his arms, carrying me for just a second. He then gently set me down.

"Thanks," I smiled. "I'm a little dizzy; can we sit down?"

"Whatever you want, babe," Luke led me to an empty bench and we sat promptly.

"I think people thought we were five year olds!" I remarked.

"Yeah, but they thought we were cute. Which we are!" Luke pecked my cheek and wrapped his arm around my shoulders, bringing me closer.

"I hope the fans ship us. Laya or Duke, is the only names I can think of."

"I'm sure they'll ship us. If they love me, they have to love you," Lucas wiggled his eyebrows.

"Uh huh. Believe what you wanna believe, Lukey pookie!"

We crack up in laughter and silence pursues after a moment.

"What are we gonna do this week?" I question.

"I don't know, but I'll think of something."

I nod and we sit, just staring at the scenery.
