*Daya's POV*
"So, did Luke tell the fans yet?" Calum queried as Luke went off to the restroom.
"Nope," I respond with a smug look.
"Daya, you two have to tell the fans soon! There's already pictures of you two holding hands or his arm wrapped around you. When the 5sos family wants something, they usually find it."
"They're gonna hate me. It's not like we've been going out for year yet! It's only been a couple of months."
"Does he even want to make it official?"
"Yeah. He wants everyone to know, so if and when someone harasses me on Twitter, he'll get the supporters to reck 'em," I scoff, mocking my boyfriend's accent.
"Why don't you make it official on his birthday? He's turning nineteen this week. He's an adult."
"I'll think about it, okay?" I mumble as Luke comes and sits by me again.

Everything was properly set up now. Balloons were everywhere and confetti was ready to pop once he entered the room. We rented a medium size lounge for the party. The cake was in the corner and the boys had invited everyone that Luke knew well. I grinned once I got the text that Luke was entering.
"He's coming!" I shouted and turned off the lights.
Everyone quickly got quiet and we waited for the click and shutting of the door. After five minutes, it came. The door opened and I instantly turned on the lights.
Everyone yelled, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LUKE!!"
His dimples showed and his laugh lines crinkled. Lucas came to me first and kissed me on the forehead.
"I love you so much, Daybe!"
Luke then hugged anyone and everyone. He opened some presents and we ate cake. When the party was over, the boys and I began to clean up.
"So, Daya, what'd you get me?" Luke asked.
"Uhm, I know you want to make it official, so I thought we can make it official, official," I shrug.
"Really?!" Luke shouted with excitement.
"Yeah, really," I smiled at him and he pulled me into a tight hug.
He giggled and once we finished the cleaning, we all went our desperate ways home.
I yawned, "I'm sorry if it's not what you wanted."
Luke shook his head, "Day, it was one of the best gifts you could give. I really don't like hiding us away from everyone."
I beamed and we arrived at the house.
Liz greeted Luke with a hug and a kiss, telling us we needed to rest. We went into our separate bedrooms and drifted off to sleep. At least, I tried too.I tossed and turned a couple of times; I even took a Melatonin. But, no, my body wouldn't allow me to sleep. My inner gut was pounding by the second hour of not sleeping.
Something's wrong.
I sat up swiftly and crept towards Luke's room. I knocked lightly and a thump was heard immediately.
"Luke?" I opened the door and poked my head through.
Lucas was reaching to the floor, lazily reaching for his phone.
"Hey, babe," He smiled like nothing happened.
I closed the door behind me and I sat next to him as he gathered himself.
"Were you watching porn?" I stifle a laugh.
"No, no. I was on Twitter. I just made it official and there is so many supporters and a handful of haters. I kinda regret it. I thought it would make me feel better."
"Lukey, so what if people hate me? That's just little teenagers who don't understand what being human is, alright?"
He assented and pulled me to lie down next to him.
"Daya, you love me right?"
"Yes. Why would you ask me that?"
"I just wanna make sure, y'know? I feel like you only like me because I'm famous."
"I like you because you're adorable and nice and just plain amazing. You being famous is just an upgrade," I giggled.
"Thank you," he shoves his face in my neck for a close hug.
"For what? I'm just stating the truth!"
"I know. Can you stay with me for the night?"
"Anything for you, Lukey," I pulled the cover up to my nose.
He grins and we drift off to sleep.
