Chapter 3

As my grandpa was telling me the story and I was listing, he suddenly fell asleep.

Although, he told me that there had been a lot more incidents besides that. But now that he's sleeping, I guess I'll ask him to tell me the rest of the story after he wakes up.

I did learn a lot of things hearing the story and I never even realized until he told me, that he was one of the two people who was guarding that house at night to find out that mysterious person who was taking care of the house secretly. Though it was hilarious, it actually shocked me. No wonder he knew every detail about that moment.

Now, what should I do to pass the time?

There's nothing to do much inside the house. I guess I'll go outside for a walk.

After walking for some time, it was getting boring. So, I thought I'll go and see the haunted house for myself that my grandpa had told me. It should not be that far away from this place.

I saw fewer and fewer people as I was getting near that place. When I arrived, there was no one around there. Also, there were no houses, no trees. Only one house was in front of me. It was as my grandpa said. The house was gorgeous, the garden was beautiful, there was also a well, as well as four trees around that house.

Even from a distance, I could tell that even after all this year the house looked brand new, the garden was brimming with life and everything was so perfect that it was actually scary. It was as if I had entered into a completely new world. Looking at the house got me very curious. So, even though I was a little scared, I mustered all my courage and walk near the house.

When I walked past the garden, the scent of the flowers was very refreshing. Then, when I arrived at the door, I stopped at that moment. I was thinking,

- Was it a good idea to come here?

- What if I'm doing something that I shouldn't?

- Maybe it's not too late to turn back.

While thinking about these kinds of stuff I decided not to knock at the door or try to get inside. So, I turned back and I was about to leave. Suddenly the door made a noise and it slowly started to open up.

At that moment my thought accelerated and became even more clear,

- I knew it, this was really a bad idea.

- Even getting so much experience after watching all the horror movies in the past. I still made the same mistake. Darn it!

Now that it has come to this there are several possibilities that could happen.

- First, the door opened and no one is there. Then I enter the house to see if someone is there and then the door shuts down and I ended up trapped inside the house. Also, even if there is no one and if I try to run away, something might grab me and pull me inside forcefully and trap me inside the house. And I ended up with a bad ending.

- Second, the door opened and there is an old fragile lady. She lives alone in the house and takes care of it. Now that I'm here, she needs some help with something, and when I'm done helping with the work, she's going to wait for an opening and she's going to devour me. Also, if I try to run away from the start. That would be instant death. Either way, it's going to end badly.

- Third, when the door opens, even if someone is there or not, I'll try pretending to go inside the house and then I'll pull the door and close it. After that I'll run.... I'll run so fast that it will be a new world record. There is also a risk with this plan. Because all the plants around the house might attack me while I try to escape. Although there is a risk. But now I don't have any choice. I have to take it.

As the door opened, I was fully prepared to go with the third plan.

As I focused myself with my heart & soul

I failed to execute it with everything I had got

When the door opened my sight was sold

As I was seeing it, I got froze...

What will happen next, I'll tell
