It was practically freezing when I woke up, I was shivering. It was 7 am, so I got up and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Well look who's up at the right time." My mom teased in a sarcastic voice.

"Shush."

I got a bowl, poured my favorite cereal, and then poured my milk. I yawned, grabbed a spoon, and sat down at the table.

"Is it just me, or is it cold?"

"I think it's just you sweetie."

"Ok..-"

I ate my breakfast and got ready for school. When I met the other in the lobby Sal ran up to me and started shaking me.

"Be quiet, and make sure to take a picture."

He led me to a chair in the lobby, and when I saw it, I almost squealed but calmed myself. Riley was asleep, her head on Larry's shoulder, and I couldn't tell if Larry was sleeping or if he was just ignoring us, but he wasn't looking at us, or saying anything to us. I whipped out my phone, and took a picture, sending it to everyone but Larry and Riley.

"I am so going to use this to blackmail them." I laughed.

I put my phone in my pocket and walked over to them.

"Ayo, lovebirds. Wake up, we gotta leave soon."

Riley opened her eyes and looked at me, and her face went bright red from embarrassment. She then looked over and saw Larry, and blushed more. She stopped leaning on Larry's shoulder. Larry looked over at her.

"You were awake?-"

"I was awake long enough to know she was asleep on my shoulder." He sighed.

Riley sighed, walking out of the lobby.

"Come on, we gotta get going." Her voice faltered.

I looked at her, she seemed like she was gonna cry. She then ran out the door.

"RILEY!" I ran after her.

I heard the others rushing after us as I left. By the time I'd run outside, Riley was far ahead of me. I'm a decent runner, and so is Riley, but she can run really fast when she needs to. I muttered to myself, cursing. I started running after her. After a couple of minutes, she stopped running, and I was able to get close enough to hear her...crying..? I ran up to her.

"Hey, hey. You ok?"

"No...I'm not ok..."

"Wanna tell me about it..?" I sighed hopefully.

"No."

"Ok...well.." I looked around, thinking to myself, "I can't help you if you won't tell me what's wrong.."

"I don't want your help."

I stopped walking, and looked at the sidewalk, fidgeting with my backpack. My eyes filled with tears, I felt bad, I was worried I did something. The others ran up to me, Sal asked what was wrong, and I explained what happened. Larry looked away...

"I can try talking to her..but I don't know if she'll tell me..."

I gave him a grateful look, "Thank you..."

He ran ahead, while the others stayed back, and we talked. I did notice Ash wasn't here today...

"Where's Ash?"

"She isn't gonna be at school, she's not feeling too well."

"I see..."

We continued walking and arrived at the school a couple of minutes later. I was feeling a bit better by then. We just continued the day normally. Went to classes, almost throwing up my lunch because of the school lunches, and hanging out for the rest of the day. The only thing was I had a great sleep. In fact, as soon as I laid down, I was out.
