"Welcome to your life, where there is no escape. Even while we sleep we will find you in your role of good behavior."

🌸

He was going to die, he was sure of it, fleeing was pointless because Uzui kept him well attached to his body while they walked.

The only thing he could ask for now is that his death be quick and painless, a blow between the eyebrows and that's it.
But to her bad luck, Uzui seemed like the type who didn't end problems with one shot, surely he would beat her to death and finally with her last breath she would force him to dig her own grave.
Oh well, he lived a good life, all I asked was to be able to say goodbye to Grandpa.

Going down the stairs to the underground Zenitsu found the words in his mouth at last.

"W-where are we going?"

"To a fun place" he answered with an energetic voice as if he hadn't had anything but redbull for snack. Oh, God, was that guy a homicidal maniac?!

Finally setting him down on the ground, Uzui blew out a ticket before turning to the blonde and waiting for him to advance to the machine.

Zenitsu walked towards the machine with his knees trembling and his stomach churning, but he did nothing but stare at the monitor screen in silence.

"And good?"

"I-I just don't have any money."

How humiliating, they were going to kill him and he would have to leave this world as a failure without a single weight on him and without having had breakfast. At least he would be entitled to a last supper, right? If that was the case he would order fried chicken.

Uzui checked his tongue before shaking his head and paying a ticket for himself.

"Taking."

Before he could say anything about it, maybe a thank you?, the albino grabbed him by the wrist and started walking towards the comboy.

They boarded and even with the door closing in front of their noses, the taller one didn't let go of his injured wrist and to pity, perhaps ignoring the pain on purpose despite having already noticed it, but almost as if he feared that when he let go the boy would run away.

To his surprise (and perhaps trying to calm his anxiety) Uzui gave him a pleasant smile.

That small gesture was enough for the blonde to inflate his chest and gather every little bit of courage inside him and be able to ask that strange man what all this was about.

"So, ah... Uzui-san. Why does he want me to come with you?"

The taller finally let go of his hand. "It's just that Suma has been talking about you a lot, and from what he told me you sound like a nice guy."

A good guy? A GOOD GUY!? But if it was less than 30 minutes I call him trash and dog. Zenitsu suppressed the urge to unleash a good blow on that albino but there was a good reason why he didn't, surely his firm and hard muscles would break his hand.

🌸

"I can't stand this indecision, married to lack of vision. Everyone wants to rule the world."

🌸

"The mall?" Zenitsu asked already irritated. The expression on his face was completely ignored by the taller one.

The sun was setting behind him as they walked towards the ichimarukyū *.

"Exactly!" His smile shone brighter than the illuminated marquee of the women's clothing store next to him and Zenitsu hated him for it. "It's Valentine's Day soon and I have no idea what to get her, so I assumed you could help me pick out something cute."
