"I'm too far away,
But I'll keep running just to find
a path to you."

🌸

He was 21 years old when he graduated from the University at the end of last summer.  He was proud of course, the illusions of him overwhelmed him and pushed him to the anxiety and uncertainty of independent life.

He decided to leave home and rent a small apartment in Shibuya next to a gym and a second-hand book and magazine stand.
He soon discovered that the salary would not be enough to cover the expenses of a nice place like the one he had (In hindsight he thought of the reason why he would want two rooms if it was only him) so he began looking for a roommate in an application of Internet because he refused to return to grandfather's house as a loser or in the worst case to ask Kaigaku for help.

Live with Kaigaku?  Definitely NOT, thanks!

He checked the notifications on his phone one last time before he left the house.

The last days of January were still cold, the snow continued to accumulate on the sidewalks and bushes in its path while the decorations of the eve of sowing were slowly removed.

He wondered if it would be a better option to have worn a scarf, even though he didn't really have one and his ears and cheeks were freezing.

The guitar was heavy on his back and the coat was too uncomfortable but luckily;  also warm.

"I'm sorry for being late."  He said entering the premises and leaving his dirty and wrinkled notes on the table next to the dirty window.

His boss gave him a heavy look but he didn't say anything, which he appreciated.

Actually, not that he necessarily needed live music as the place wasn't exactly a posh place, they served coffee alongside cheap drinks alike anyway.

Noticing how the place was almost empty, he decided that the best thing would be to clean the tables or something like that.  He took his time before starting.
By mid-afternoon he was starting to cool the place down a bit more and more.

As soon as he entered the kitchen he ran into a brunette girl with a catlike smile, she could be her age maybe a little older, her hair was tied up in a tall colleague tied with a dark blue bow and her lips had a subtle pale pink lipstick that It matched her fair skin.  If she was to be honest with herself the girl was pretty cute.

"Good afternoon miss, I've never seen you here before I'm sure she would remember."  I greet with a sweet and shrill tone that I try to make seem sexy.

The girl giggled.  She didn't know if she was laughing at him or with him but she didn't like that reaction, she thought that maybe she was being pathetic or stupid or some unpleasant adjective.

"Wow, but you must be the guy who plays in this place."  She rolled up the sleeves of her uniform and began dipping dirty coffee cups into the pooled water in the sink.  "I'm Suma the new waitress, I heard you play the guitar, I hope to hear you sing soon, even though your voice is a bit shrill, they say you sing very well."
