Chapter Eighteen.

Dean's POV:

"Lil Jon, what's up?" I expected April when I opened my locker room door after heavy pounding on it but boy, was I wrong. There's only one woman in the entire world who refers to me as Lil Jon . That would be Sami's ex wife, Christina Rivera.

"Chrissy? What brings you backstage at a WWE show?" I asked as she walked passed me and sat on the couch with Cassidy, her and Sami's daughter, in her arms.

"Would you believe me if I told you I missed you?"

"No."

"Well that's probably a good thing because I don't."

I rolled my eyes then continued packing my bag to head back to the hotel while listening to her continue.

"I came to see you kick my ex husband's ass but what I saw was an all out battle for a certain divas heart. You guys fighting over a girl is getting really ancient bro. Like. Chill."

"It's not a battle," I corrected. "It's not anything really. It's kind of....look, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking this is like back in CZW when we started like fighting over you or whatever but it's not. We weren't even really fighting over you, we were fighting about you. I felt as if he were too busy following you around to pay attention to his career."

"And that's why you guys disbanded?"

"No, no. We disbanded because I wanted to move up while he was stuck on the Indy scene. That and I didn't like the fact that he cheated on you then stole your Xbox. I basically chose you over him and he thought in terms of "Bros before hoes" but he was wrong. He knows it now but it's like he didn't then. We've come a long way since then. Why are we talking about the past anyway? It's done."

I finished packing and walked over to where Chrissy was sitting. I sat next to her as she said, "You're right. Let's talk about now. Let's talk about AJ Lee."

"My favorite topic," I grinned. "My absolute favorite topic. What about her?"

"You popped the question. That's where this began. Now, Sami has a heart attack about it every time it comes up, but why? April is yours. She's been yours since what? Last year? Sami knows this. And as cute as they would be together, they're not going to. She has to make a choice. She's going to choose you."

"How can you be so sure about that? I'm not even sure if this is all worth it, you know? Let's say for arguments sake she chooses me. How will I know that she won't fall in love with the next guy who comes her way?"

"You won't. There's no way of knowing that just as soon as whatever is going on between her and Sami is over, she'll go on to another guy. But Jonny boy, you're her fiancé. Everyone has doubts about getting married and questioning their feelings for whoever they're getting married too. Look, you'll be fine. Just trust her."

I started to say something else when my phone started buzzing in my pocket. I took it out and stared at the name flashing when Chrissy said, "She's calling you. Answer it, dumb ass."

I rolled my eyes and answered it, "Hello?"

"We're throwing a party tonight at our hotel room. Is that okay?" AJ asked.

"Um sure? What's the occasion?"

"I have an important announcement to make. I'd ride back to the room with you but I have to do some things first. Invite everyone you possibly can because everyone needs to know so there are no surprises later. Some people may leave upset after tonight but...it's my decision."

"What are you deciding?" I asked.

"As far as you and Sami and the wedding, I've finally gotten it. I've chosen! I've seen the light! Hallelujah!"

I chuckled at her excitement, "Well I'm glad..but why does that need an audience? Shouldn't you just tell us alone?"

"Are you Jonathan Good, Dean Ambrose, Jon Moxley, turning down a chance to party? I'm in utter shock! Look, we're partying. Everything is so tense. Get the alcohol and everything, it's gonna be a throw down tonight. To celebrate you guys hard fought battle and what not. Look, just trust me okay?"

I looked at Chrissy who was wiping the drool off of Cassidy and smiling at me mouthing the words, "Trust her."

I sighed, "As always, princess."

"......I'm still princess?"

"You've always been, you know that. Always will be too."

"You sure about that?"

"Of course," I frowned. "Are you okay? You sound kind of weird."

"Oh, I'm fine!" She exclaimed happily. "I'll see you when I get home! Love you!"

And with that she hung up. I held the phone to my ear for ten seconds then looked at Chrissy, "That was weird."

"What was?" Chrissy asked. Cassidy reached for me and I smiled picking her, up taking her in my arms.

"Well," I started playing with her while talking. "She wants to throw a party. A random party, but a party. She said she had an announcement to make and that everyone needs to be present."

"Maybeeee she's choosing you!" Chrissy said excitedly.

"Maybe she's choosing Sami," I whispered sadly. "What if she chooses Sami? What am I gonna do? Can I handle it? Will I snap? Oh god. What if she chooses Sami?"

"Breathe...hey." Chrissy hugged me wrapping her arms around me and rubbed my back gently continuing, "If she doesn't choose you, she's not worth it. You're an amazing guy, Jon. And before you object, shut up because you are. If she doesn't, you have to prepare yourself into the next step and that's like moving on and shit. Just don't stress it too much. Your head might explode. Tell em' Cassidy, say Uncle Dean, don't stress it too much."

I watched her tickle her daughter and Cassidy squirmed with laughter in my arms. I smiled then joined in on the tickling making her squirm some more.

We both laughed as we tickled her not aware that the door opened until we heard, "What the hell is this?"

A couple things:

1) Chrissy is Sami's ex wife in case some of you forgot.

2) Cassidy is Sami and Chrissy's daughter in case you guys forgot that too.

3) I already have ideas for part three of the series so, pretty soon will be the end because I'm running out of ideas to happen before the end. If that makes sense.

4) Updates are slow because I'm losing interest in this story and I'm about to graduate high school so I've been extra busy.

5) Sorry if this chapter sucked. Yes, AJ's decision will be coming soon. I promise.

5) As far as AJ's decision, please be aware that it's up to me as the writer to pick who she chooses. That being said, if you're unhappy with the decision that's not my problem.

6) Please note that I have a lot of stories so, updates will be slow because of that as well.
