Chapter Nineteen.

Sami's POV:

"I'm glad you could make it, Sami. How are you?" Dean asked, once he opened the door. I had no choice but to attend AJ's party because this may or may not be the best night of my life. I really hope I won't flip out when AJ makes her decision because at the end of it all, I just want her to be happy. I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't lose my shit if she decided she loved Dean more. I also promised not to start shit which is why I decided against my buddy's advice about going after Paige to seek revenge. Never listen to your drunk friends, kids.

"I brought beer and nachos," I replied.

"Oh yeah?"

"A party isn't a party without beer and or nachos. Whatever happens, we have beer and nachos to fall back on."

Dean laughed then stepped to the side letting me in. I looked around the hotel room and waved at everyone who'd shown up. Of course the usual suspects were there including Roman, Alicia, and Celeste. No sign of Colby and I honestly wasn't shocked by it. Dean took the shield breakup pretty hard professionally and personally so I don't think he'll be around any longer.

"What is with your hair?" Dean asked.

I laughed walking to the couch, "You don't like it? I shaved half of my head then dyed a little red and the rest is my natural black hair."

"It matches Havok's hair."

I paused then turned around, "That's just a coincidence. Besides hers is long mines short. She has no red in it either and besides, I haven't talked to her ever since I slept with her." I sat down on the couch, putting the beer on the coffee table.

"Well, she's here. That might change."

"WHAT? Why?"

Dean put his hands up, "April invited her. She said that it was best of everyone was here and that included Havok and Chrissy and well, everyone. I don't make the rules my fiancé does. You see all these stupid little cobweb decorations?" He pointed all around him and I nodded. He nodded along, "Yeah not my idea either. All hers."

"The only thing missing is her. Where is she?"

Celeste chimed in, "Yeah, where is Tiny? She was suppose to be here an hour ago."

"I texted her and she said she was on her way," Alicia added.

"Well you guys know April, always fashionably late. Just wait, she'll be here," Dean said.

The night was spent drinking, laughing, singing, and reminiscing. Everyone was a little tipsy and I forgot that I was even angry with Dean which was probably best anyway. The night went along smoothly.

But it also went along without April. That worried me more than anything.

It's as if Dean read my mind. In the middle of everyone's laughter he said, "Guys, I'm gonna call April because it's getting late and she's not here."

He got up and walked outside the door away from everyone.

I'm sorry this wasn't as good as the first part, I had so many ideas for this but I shot them down as I was writing.

This was short but it's building to the final chapter I promise. You'll find everything out in the next chapter.
