I did not hear anything from Hoseok since he left my house yesterday right after we had that moment of our one-sided kiss.

Yes... One-sided kiss because I did not kiss him back.

I wanted to kiss him so badly before my mind flashed a picture of my boyfriend whom I believed I love a lot.

And I do! No doubt! But I couldn't understand why I wanted to kiss another man if I really loved him that much.

I sighed a lot on my way to meet Kai as I tried to push the thoughts about Hoseok all the way back of my head and focus on my marriage which only had about 20 days left.

I knew I had to tell Kai about my problem and that I'm getting it treated by my brother's best friend who is a Sex Education teac-

That will be too much information, wouldn't it?

Anyways, gathering up as much determination and courage as I could, I entered the café to meet my boyfriend with my mind made up to tell him everything today.

Well, mostly.

"Hey, babe!" The man chimed, quickly standing up from his seat to greet me with a kiss on my cheek.

Kiss...

DON'T THINK ABOUT IT!

"Hey..." I smiled back at him as we sat down around the table.

"What did you want to say?" He asked since I had told him that I have something to tell him- the truth about my issue, that is.

I've been preparing myself for this moment ever since this morning.

It's 5.50 in the evening right now, I should be able to do this now, right?

I took a long breath.

"Actually-"

"How is your health now? Are you still sick?" He asked, interrupting me in between.

"No... I'm good." I answered with a short smile before resuming. "Okay, the thing is that I-"

"I was really worried about you..."

I smiled at him again. "I wanted to say that-"

"Should we order some drinks first?"

"Will you stop interrupting me?? I've finally mustered some courage to tell you this, so just SIT WITH YOUR MOUTH SHUT AND LISTEN, OKAY?!"

I huffed, feeling strangely irritated for some reason.

"Yes, ma'am!" He stuck his index finger against his lips, shutting his mouth close as if he glued them up.

That's when I noticed a drop of water running down his temple.

Is he sweating in a room full of air conditioners?

"Kai, are you alright? Why are you sweating?"

He touched his forehead to check before releasing an awfully weird laugh.

"Nothing~" He shook his head.

I watched his strange behaviour, not grasping onto why he was being that way.

"Honestly," He finally started, "I wanted to tell you something."

I nodded a little, asking him to proceed.

He cleared his throat. "I'm... Wait- Isn't that your friend?"

I frowned as I followed his gaze and almost choked on my saliva when I saw Hoseok sitting on a table, not so far behind me.

THE FUCK IS HE DOING HERE???!

I quickly turned back and tried not to get noticed by him.

"I guess he's here on a date too."

"He's what?" I looked back again to see what Kai meant but I did not expect what I saw.

He's on a date???

Is that why he didn't contact me since yesterday?

That's Not A Reason To Ignore Someone Though!!

"What was his name again?... Hoseok, right?"

Kai's voice strangely sounded as if he was angry at Hoseok but he got ignored by me at the moment since my curiosity and confusion messed up my brain.

Hoseok's surprisingly cute behaviour toward the woman had an obvious answer that he liked her.

I finally turned back at Kai to see him nervous and a little angry.

"I'm so sorry... I got a little distracted." I apologized but he seemed more distracted than I was.

"Kai?"

"Yes?" He switched his attention to me. "You were saying?"

"Yes, I like someone." I heard Hoseok's voice.

Why is he suddenly sounding so loud?

Both of us turned to see them giggling loudly.

What the hell are they so loud for?!

I rolled my eyes.

"Who's she?" I lip-read the woman's words.

"Just..." Hoseok trailed.

Is he that bad at confessing?

I scoffed.

"Anyways, Kai, I wanted to tell you about my dust allergy..." I started but Kai got a call right then.

What a coincidence.

"I'm sorry, Y/n, I'll have to leave now. I promise I'll meet you tomorrow, at your house! I'm so sorry. Get home safely!"

I sighed as I watched him running out of the cafe.

And that's how my confession went straight off the cliff.
