He walked over to the stereo and turned off the music.

Auden was extremely embarrassed to be caught watching something that felt somehow intimate.

"Some of your groceries were left on my porch," she said pathetically. "I put them on the counter for you."

He came over to her after turning off the music, sweat dripping down his brow and dampening the front of his shirt. He reached up with the back of his hand and wiped the droplets from his face.

"Thanks," he said. "How did you get in?"

"The door was unlocked," she shrugged. "And I figured since you broke into my house it was only fair for me to break into yours."

"Hmm. . . " he said and it sounded almost like he was agreeing as he reached for his water bottle on the floor and took a sip.

Silence emanated between them for several long moments.

"Sorry for barging in, I'll just go now," she said awkwardly, then started to leave. But before she even turned fully around, he stopped her.

"Wait," he said reaching out to gently clasp her wrist. "Could you help me out with something for a minute?"

She looked at him skeptically. "Depends, what do you need help with?"

He smiled at her, but Auden could see that he was exhausted. He must've been working himself too hard. How long had he been dancing in here for?

But before she could ask he started to pull her further into the dance room.

"I have a partner for this dance and I can't figure out this one move. Could you pretend to be my partner for a moment?"

"Jimin, I can't dance."

"Sure you can. If you can keep a beat you can dance," he gave her a knowing look. She was about to protest more but then he moved to a spot behind her, and she felt his hands touch her waist.

Auden froze, taking in a sharp breath.

Her body was set aflame with some unknown feeling she'd never before encountered. And the way his hands were fluttering around her waist while he practiced whatever move he was doing, most definitely was doing something to her.

She looked in the mirror, sort of in awe as he started to do some graceful twirling around her. Like she was the earth and he the sun.

She stood stupidly, looking in the mirror as he dance around her, and then suddenly he grabbed her again, and he was pulling her up into the air, and Auden let out a terrified yelp.

"Relax, I won't drop you," he said and she could see the amusement in his eyes.

He was holding her bridal style, and then he twirled her around, did some fancy maneuver while somehow managing not to dump her onto her head, and then it was over.

She was on her feet again, hair a little disheveled, and eyes wide with fright.  Jimin's chest was heaving with ragged breaths from the acrobatics he was just performing with her. She was a little shorter than Jimin, but she most definitely wasn't a toothpick. She had some curves, and she was shocked to find how strong he was.

"You have to do that for the dance?" Auden asked breathlessly.

"Yeah, but it will be slightly more complicated than that when we actually perform it."

She let out a nervous laugh, trying to let out some of the tension strung through her body.

She didn't ever expect Park Jimin's hands to be on her body, twirling her around. She also never expected to know the way his chest felt against the side of her body, or the way his breath felt on her neck when he twirled her around.
