It's been a few months since Rosetta stayed with the lionhart family, she enjoyed their company and the fact that they act like a family unit when it comes to each other. It was sweet to watch, but she's noticed that William has been acting off lately, he's been sluggish and his voice seems scratchy.
"William? It's time to get up" Rosetta said as she knocked on the door gently.
There was no response for a few minutes so she decided to go in and check on him.
"William?" She said as she approached the bedside.
She felt his head.
"You have a fever" she said to herself out loud, but decided to get a cold cloth and came back placing it on his head.
William groaned a bit because of the fever.
A few hours later
William woke up but groaned slightly of a headache, when he turned slightly he saw some medicine and Rosetta asleep beside the bed.
"Rosetta?." He thought to himself. He then felt a cold cloth on his head and took it off to see it soaked with cold water.
The movement caused Rosetta to wake up slightly.
"Ah your awake" she said slightly dozy from being asleep for a little bit.
William nodded as he sat up.
"You took care of my fever while I was out?" He said out of curiosity.
She nodded in response.
"It was a high fever" she said
"Why didn't you tell anyone you weren't well?" She asked gently. "I didn't really noticed I wasn't feeling well" he responded as he drank some of the medicine on the bedside table.
As he heard Rosetta sigh he could see that she was glad he was alright.
"I told your mother your not well today, so she let you have two days off for a break" she told him. As she reached for the cloth and put it in the bowl of cold water.
"Ah thank you" he said but was holding the glass of water taking a sip.
"Rest up" she said, "you'll need the energy to recover" she finished her sentence as she placed the cold cloth against his head again.
He nodded not really having the energy to lie saying he's fine at the moment.
He fell back asleep...
After a few days William felt better and started helping around the farm again, but also made sure to take some breaks because Rosetta told him too.
