A confession of a lionhart

As William and Rosetta walked about the village, they were heading to the bakery for the sale of muffins that had been brought up earlier that day.
It was peaceful and relaxing but William hated a certain place that was near the bakery that he hated going, he didn't plan on going there anyway, so he kept walking with Rosetta.

As the entered the bakery they both smelt the scent of fresh baked goods, guessing they were made recently today.
"Good noon ms. Rose" the baker said as he approached the counter. "Good noon mr. Fern" Rosetta said as she approached the counter.
"Come for our batch of muffins I see?" Mr. Fern stayed with a warm smile. Rosetta nodded in response "I wanted to actually buy a big batch this time" she said with a small smile she stated to him. "Ah grabbing some for some of the village children today are we?" Mr. Fern said to her while he started packing up a load of muffins.

As William saw more of roses personality show, he started to realize how much he actually fell for her. He turned to the side slightly covering his face with his hood, "this is troubling" he said to himself.
"What's troubling?" Rosetta asked curious, "nothing just thinking about something is all" he said quickly to her to hide the truth of what he was thinking about.
"Alright, but if something's bothering don't hesitate to talk to me about it okay?" Rosetta said turning to him showing a gentle smile. "Y yeah I will" he said almost dazed.

As soon as Rosetta payed for the muffins and they headed out, William saw that Rosetta was heading to a small orphanage and knocked gently.
A small child open the door, "ms. Rose!" The young girl exclaimed in excitement hugging her, "hello Lora" Rosetta said with a small giggle picking her up spinning her a bit. "Oo ms. Rose brought a boyfriend!" Lora said causing the pair to blush an excessive amount, "L lora!" Rosetta said flustered. "Am I wrong though? Ms. Rose?" Lora said.
"But our caretaker says when a boy and a girl are together their boyfriend and girlfriend!" Lora explained, Rosetta sighed in defeat probably guessing she wasn't going to change the subject with words.
"I brought you all snacks" Rosetta said opening a basket around her arm giving Lora a muffin. "Ooo thank you ms. Rose!" Lora said in excitement about the gift. "Your welcome now go take this to the rest of the children" Rosetta said with a gentle smile. "Yes ms. Rose!" Lora said as she ran off with the basket. "Well" Rosetta said standing back up, "should we head off now then?" She said turning to William.
"You really do have a beautiful heart rose" William stated but realized he said that out loud, but when he looked at Rosetta he caught a small glimpse of blush. "Let's get going then" Rosetta said walking to the door laughing a bit.
"R right" he agreed following after her.
"H hey rose can you meet me somewhere around midnight in the sheep field I want to tell you something" William said as he gave a shot at what his sister suggested. "Sure directly at midnight though or early?" She answered, but she did have a good question, "a little before midnight" he responded. "Alright wilby" she said with a soft smile.

As they started walking back they stayed silent, but it was a good kind of silence. As they approached the cottage that William and Rosetta stayed on the farm. They both relaxed and finished everything they had to do that day.
"Hey William I'm going to start making dinner alright?" Rosetta said, "alright!" William responded from outside.
Rosetta got to work cooking and making dinner for today as the day was closing to an end.
After a few minutes Rosetta finished and started setting up the meals for the both of them.
"Alright now time to get the cat inside" Rosetta said to herself as she went to the front door opening it, "William dinner is finished!" Rosetta said as she was standing at the front of the entrance to the cottage.
"Coming!" William said as he approached the front door facing Rosetta but he didn't have a shirt on because he was doing some lumber and was sweating a bit, as he stopped infront of Rosetta he notice Rosetta wasn't keeping eye contact. "What's up?" He asked as he placed his hand behind his head moving his hair slightly to cool off a bit faster. "N nothing dinners on the table" she exclaimed slightly, " if you say so, don't forget about later tonight though" he said as a reminder to her but she nodded Acknowledging him.

Later around midnight Rosetta got up, she couldn't sleep today at all, but she went outside not before putting on shawl, but went she was told earlier to do and saw William in the sheep field with his ears and tail out.
"You asked to talk about something William?" Rosetta said quietly to him sitting beside him. " yes actually it's something I've been meaning to talk to you about for awhile now" he said as he wrapped his tail around her to keep her warm, she moved closer to him as if showing to continue. "I realized a earlier today that I've fallen for someone harder then I thought I would" he said as he continued his sentence with Rosetta listening, what he didn't know was Rosetta was already guessing it wasn't a love confession. "To the point where I think I can't see myself with out them" he said turning his gaze on her. "Sounds nice" she said but hid her feelings well. Rosetta felt William grab her face gently not in a hurtful manner and kissed her, she didn't pull away though she melted into it. As they parted from the kiss, "Rosetta I want to spend it with you" he finished, "I understand if you don't feel the same" he stated.
Rosetta moved on top of him cuddling him, "I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my time with you, William I want this as much as you do" she said to as they stayed like this for awhile just in comfortable silence in their embrace to eachother.
