First date together

William woke up in early morning, but when he looked down he saw Rosetta cuddling him. It's been a few months since he's confessed his feelings to her, but today he had a fun idea for both of them. But first he wanted to cuddle with her more before then.
Rosetta did eventually wake up but not because she wanted to, Williams purring can be extremely gentle but it's also very loud when he's happy or thinking about something.
"Good morning William" she mumbled into his chest.
"Good morning Rosie" he said as he had his body hugging her, "what are you excited about this morning?" She asked still waking up. "Had some ideas for what to do with you today" he said with a small smile.
"Is that so?" She said moving her face from his chest to face him, "yes" he said.
"Alright then" she said but was getting up and got dressed for the day. "But first chores before anything" she said, "finne" he said but he got ready as well.
They both did their chores of the day and finished after a bit and took a break by Rosetta making breakfast for them both.
"Your cooking is amazing as always" William said as he did the dishes this time because Rosetta accidentally cut her finger early during chores. "Why thank you but it's just simple breakfast" she said as she cleaned the table.
"Anyways" he began his sentence catching her attention, "since we've actually hadn't been on a date why not go on one today?" He said as he finished cleaning the dishes. "S sure" she said slightly startled by the idea.
"Your not used to being in active in a relationship aren't you?" He said showing empathy, "n no, not really my last relationship was more of a forced one" Rosetta responded to him, "I haven't had an actual good relationship with my ex husband" Rosetta said to him but dried out the towel.
"You don't have to worry about me hurting you sunflower" William said to her as he walked behind her hugging her. "Please lets go this can be our first experience together" he said holding her in his grip but was being gentle with her, "alright" she said.
"Let's go then" she said finished her sentence but did give him a small kiss on the cheek.

As they both left the cottage they started heading to the village, "so we might as well do some shopping to while we're there huh?" She said in slight amusement, "guess so" he responded to her but he placed a rose in her hair, "you look lovely" he said to her with a genuine smile.
Rosetta had a small blush on her face from that comment but ruffled his hair as a response to him. "H hey!" He said with slightly amusement in his tone.
As they went on their date in the village they actually had a lot of fun and learned more about eachother as they went, they enjoyed eachothers presence to eachother.
"Should we get some muffins?" Rosetta asked him as they walked more but they where approaching the bakery, "sure" he said to her.
They entered the bakery after a bit of walking, "good afternoon you two" mr. Fern said to them, "good afternoon mr. Fern" William said to him.
"You know you both are the talk of the village of recently, and I can say some women envy ms. Rosabelle" mr. Fern said to them both as he packed some muffins for them both. "Is that so?" William said as he saw that rosetta doesn't really seem to participate in this type of conversation. "Yes that's right, I'm sure your ex fiancé is enraged too" mr. Fern said to him. "She can suffer then I'm happy with rose" he said keeping his eyes on rose as she playing with some of the children in the square.
"You seem very happy and I congratulate you on your relationship with ms. Rosabelle" mr. Fern said with a warm chuckle.
"And I'm sure you'll both be great parents one day as well" he said as he also saw that Rosetta was playing with the children in the square, "e eh?" William stuttered a bit at the comment.
