An execution trail of a poison affair

It's been almost 6 months  since Rosetta and William have found out they were expecting and lots of the village people congratulated them once the news got out but something was off.

Rosetta was starting to head back to the farm that her and William live on together.
"Rosabelle!" A woman's voiced yelled to her, she stopped for the woman to catch up.
"Ah mrs. Clover I thought you didn't like seeing me?" Rosetta stated while she let clover caught her breathe for a second. "I have a gift for you to congratulate you, even if it's a bit late" clover said to her with a smile.

"O oh?" Rosetta said as she was slightly startled by the idea of getting a gift.
"Yes I wanted to give you this drink" clover said to her as she held out a glass of lemonade to her. "I would love to take it but I'm not able to take in anything sour at the moment,I'm sorry mrs. Clover" Rosetta said to her.
"Then how about some food?" Clover said to her with persistence in her voice. "I'm sorry mrs clover but I should really get going" rosetta said as she was showing she was getting uncomfortable with this.

Rosetta started heading to the cottage and saw William up the road. She saw one of the sheep run up to her for some pets and she gave it some. "I see your back safe" William said as he approached her with a smile, "mhm, I was talking to mrs. Clover for a bit but she was acting odd" Rosetta said to him.
"What was she trying to give you?" William asked knowing clover well enough, "something with lemon in it and some food, why do you ask?" Rosetta said but looked at him.
"Nothing but promise to not take anything from her that involves eating or drinking" he asked her but he had his hands around her in a gentle hold, "I promise" she said to him hugging him.
Rosetta headed inside and started putting groceries away that she grabbed from the village, "hm who's knocking on the back door?" She said as she went to open it. "Hello?" She said looking around the back area for a bit, when she looked down she saw a care package, "strange I don't remember Getting packages this month" she said but picked the small crate up and brought it inside.
She placed it down and opened it "why would someone put fully made tea in here?" She questioned but tasted it. "Hmm cinnamon and camomile.." she was get suspicious about it.

Not long after she started coughing violently, she moved her hand away to look at it "b blood?" She said as her vision went black.

"Rosetta...." A voice called out but it was quiet.

William stayed beside her but was being extremely protective of her, "mr. Lionhart, I have results" the doctor, William looked at him.
"I suspect someone tried poisoning her and the child" the doctor said to him but they both had a good idea tried doing this.
"I'm going to kill clover" William said as he growled under his breath.
"You can always put her on trial" the doctor said to him.
"It isn't the first time she's done this either" another doctor said in the conversation.
"Exaction trial I'm filing that into this" William said but there was murderous intention in his voice, "what she did is unforgivable" he said as he moved a piece of Rosetta's hair out of the way.

It's been a few days since the indent but a trial has commenced during that period, they've announced it as "The Trial Of Poison Affairs" under the lord of the villages judgement.
Rosetta was given treatment during those days and had given birth early to twins, but one of them didn't make it because of the poisoning.

William was behind a door trying to suppress his lion side from taking control.
*knock knock*
His ear twitched he then heard,  "William are you in here?" Rosetta asked
'rosie...' he thought to himself but he heard something else a baby making noises. He opened the door after a few seconds and saw Rosetta with their child in her arms.
"Would you like to hold him?" She asked with a gentle smile on her face, he couldn't help but nod.
He held his son gently to try not to hurt him, "he's beautiful" William said as his finger was held gently by his sons small grip.
"He's like you" Rosetta said as went to sit with William following her to a sofa.
"Like me?" He asked.
Rosetta nodded and moved the blanket gently away from the child's head showing small black lion ears, which is surprising to William.
"Do you want to name him?" Rosetta asked laying her head against his shoulder.
"Am I allowed to name him?" He asked her but gained a small nod in response.
"I think Hugh fits him" he said as he placed a gentle kiss on to her head. "Sounds wonderful" she said.
"But William don't you think this trial is a bit much?" She asked him.
"No clover is getting what she deserved ages ago" he said but it had slight venom in his voice.

"Mrs. Clover you are found guilty there for you shall be executed" the lord said as he made his final decision.
"W wait my lord please!" She begged but gotten no sympathy or response and was taken away.
