A/N: Quick A/N I recommend listening to the attached song by Lewis Capaldi: Someone you loved for the this chap and the next to come. On with the chapter❤️

"Did you drive here?"

"Yes," I down another shot of tequila, tapping the shot against the bar counter.

"I'mma need your car keys."

"No," I respond immediately, ignoring the spark in the bartender's striking blue eyes. "Fat fucking chance."

"I'm trying to help you," he responds, his raspy voice doing nothing to me, not like it would pre-Noah.

Noah... Nope, no, nu-uh... I don't want to think about him... "By taking my car keys?"

"Yes," he rolls his eyes, seemingly getting more impatient with me by the second. "Also, to ensure the safety of those around you on the road."

"Right," I drawl. "Firstly," I hold up my index finger, downing another shot like it's nothing. "I don't know you, secondly," I raise my second finger, throwing another shot back but this time I feel it. I feel it burning its way down my gullet and settling in my stomach. This shit can turn anyone into a fire breathing dragon with anger issues. "I don't trust you," I say once the burn settles, a blurriness beginning to form around the edges of my vision. "And thirdly," I raise the next shot to my lips.

"Don't you think you've had enough?" The bartender asks, running a hand through his brown hair. I raise my brow, staring him deadass in the eyes and I throw the liquid back.

"And thirdly," I continue. "How do I know you won't take me car," I pause with a drunken giggle, realizing what I said. "My car for a joyride?"

"It's against the rules."

"Rules are made to be broken," I wink. "I tell you what, you give me two more, no make that three more shots of tequila and I'll give you my phone to call someone I trust, deal?"

He mulls it over, scrunching his scrumptious – ignore that, thanks – looking lips from side to side. "Fine, you have yourself a deal." He reaches for the tequila bottle, filling my shots with liquid gold. "Who do I call for you?"

Good fucking question.

I can't have my parents showing up here, you're never too old for a lecture – trust me. Nay would be my first choice but she's out of the question since she's pregnant and her husband is best friend's with... Him. That leaves me with Andrew and fuck, I haven't seen him since my birthday.

You could always call, Noah.

Pesky voices... Shush!

I don't know if he'll show to deal with his drunk best friend but it's my only option, I guess.

"Andrew, now gimme," I smile, dropping my phone on the bar and reach for my tequila. Down the hatch ya go!

"What's your name?"
