"So you're telling me that after two weeks of recovery, you're just now saying something about finding a key to which our Uncle Duncan's memories were hidden? Then you stole them?" Lorelei questioned from her position of laying down on her bed, leaned against the headboard. "Yep." Tyler answered rolling back and fourth on his feet at the foot of the bed. "Well, dang." Lorelei whispered. She shut her eyes and laid her head back. "Are...you okay Lore?" Tyler came and sat next to his older sister. "Yeah, it's just the whole thing with mom finding Joes body and now this. I don't know what to make of it all." Lorelei let out a deep sigh. Tyler laid a sympathetic hand on hers. "I know it's a lot especially after the accident but I know you'd want to know." Lorelei tightly smiled at Tyler. "...the memory you saw...of dad. Can I see it?"
After a few more months, Lorelei was all healed for the most part. She was to go back to work tomorrow. Today was one of the days that Gabe actually had to go to school. It was Monday and he had an important test. Tyler stayed home to help her out with getting her stuff ready.
Tyler had filled her in on what happened the night they came home after visiting her at the hospital. Well Lady had come back to play.
Kinsey had been using the keys to her leisure. Lorelei had stopped fighting her. She nearly died, again, trying to warn her. She no longer wanted to fight for someone who didn't care who she brought down with her to get what she wanted. Her main concern was that memory.
Tyler had plans to go to Jackie's house after school, which Lorelei allowed. Kinsey was doing god knows what. Bode was in his room doing kid stuff. Instead of pondering over the past, Lorelei had a chance to relax. She texted Gabe to see if he wanted to go on that date. He said he'd been there in 20 minutes.
She got out of bed to take a quick shower. She had a plan for today. Gabe planned the date but she wanted to add some spice later on. She shaved, exfoliated, lotioned, everything you could do to be the prettiest you could be.
She tied her hair up like she knows Gabe likes it. It was warmer today than usual so Lorelei wanted to wear a dress. She normally stayed with earth tones but she wanted to shock Gabe. She put on a short low cut red dress.
