I Promise (Molten Freddy x Lefty)

I'm Getting Really Worried

Ennard's POV
It had been two weeks since the accident and a lot of things have changed, it wasn't the same without Lefty being around, he was still asleep in hospital...

I guess you could say... he's... in a coma.

During those two weeks, Molten had a massive change, he always came to school with bags under his eyes, red eyes as if he was crying, he looked more skinnier and more pale than normal and he's grades had a massive drop. Everyone in our group had noticed these changes, especially at lunch time when he wouldn't eat but instead just play with his food until the bell. It's either that or when he's in class, he would fall asleep during a lesson. The teachers have tried to talk with him but whatever they say, never made a different... he still did those bad habits.

It was lunch time on a Friday afternoon, we all sat at the table as usual chatting about random stuff until I noticed that Molten, who was still next to me, was fast asleep.
"Molten... Molten" I whispered as I shook him slightly.
He mumbled and groaned as he woke up.
"Bud... are you ok?" I asked
"I..I'm fine" Molten replied, which it's obvious that he's not ok.
Just at that moment, I heard a loud rumble coming from his stomach, it was roaring and was begging for food... now I'm really worried.
"Molten... can I talk to you in private?"
"S..Sure"

Molten and I went off into the boys bathroom, Molten lent up against the wall while I faced the mirrors where the sinks are.
"Molten... I'm really getting worried about you"
"W..What? Ennard, I..I'm fine"
"No! No your not Molten! Your falling asleep in classes, your grades are going down and your not eating! When was the last time you even ate a proper meal!?"
Molten remained silent.
"Molten!?"
"I HAVEN'T EATEN PROPERLY IN A WEEK OK!!"
I was shocked... he hasn't eaten in a week... now I'm really scared for his well-being and mental health.
"Molten... why... why are you doing this to yourself?"
"It's n..non of your business!"
"As your friend, I have a right to know... I care about you Molten... and so does everyone else at the group, I keep getting questions from Sun asking if your ok... please Molten..."

Molten did say a word which hurt me a bit, then I heard sobbing, I look over to see Molten shaking and crying, he slides onto the floor and starts to curl into a ball while crying. I sit down next to him a put my arm around his shoulders.
"I..I..I'm sorry! I'm so s..sorry! I miss Lefty! I w..want my b..best friend! It hurts! It's hurts t..to loose him! I'm so s..s..sorry! I'M SO SORRY!!"
Molten bursts out crying, I wrap my arms around him and hug him. I could feel how skinny he had become. Molten hugged me back and continued to shout things and cry.

"It's alright buddy, let it all out"
We were like this for a while before he slowly calmed down and let go of the hug.
"I..I'm so sorry y..you had to s..see me l..like this"
"It's ok bud, everyone needs to let it out... I understand what your going through, I miss him too... but he's not gone..."
"No! No you don't understand what I go through!"
"Molten what do you mean? Is there something your not telling me?"
Once again, Molten remained silent until...
"M..my parents d..died a few years ago a..and I b..became an orphan, then I..I was adopted b..by my foster parents w..who abuse m..me and n..neglect m..me"

I was shocked, Molten was getting abused by he's parents... hold on... he's foster parents... and he's real ones DIED!?
"Oh Molten..."
"That's w..why I don't l..like people calling m..my last name and s..stuff like that"
Without thinking, I hug Molten tight... I felt so bad for him and he's the type of bear who doesn't deserve to go through that, in fact, no one dose.
"E..Ennard?"
"I'm always here if you need me ok Molten?"
"O..Ok"

*Time Skip*

Lefty's mom, Mrs.Lennon, picked Molten and I up from school, she was talking us to visit Lefty. When we arrived at the hospital, we were greeted by a lovely doctor who told us to wait until was could see him. We waited for about two minutes before Mrs.Lennon noticed Molten's changes.
"Molten... hun, are you ok?"
"H..huh? Oh... umm..."
Molten starts tearing up, Mrs.Lennon rubs his back
"It's ok, I know this is stressful for all of us but we have to stay strong"
Molten nods while Mrs.Lennon continues to rub Molten's back until falling asleep on her lap.

About 20 minutes later, the doctor comes back and tells us that we could see Lefty. Mrs.Lennon wakes up Molten and then headed to the room where Lefty stayed in. I forgot how bad Lefty looked, still with some burn marks, tubes up he's nose and tubes coming from his hands, connecting to machines which were healing him. Mrs.Lennon went up to Lefty and started to stroke his head gently while Molten held he's right hand and put it close to him.

Lefty...

Everything is falling apart...
