I Promise (Molten Freddy x Lefty)

The Nightmare

Molten POV
It has been 2 months since I moved in with Lefty and since then, my life has been so much better. My new mom, Mrs.Lennon, is really loving and caring towards me and Lefty and she always wants us to be happy no matter what. During these 2 months, I've started crushing on Lefty even more to the point where I blush nearly every time he first walks into a room and stumbles some of my words.

Lefty went off to the bathroom after dinner, I kept on staring at Lefty while blushing, my heart was going a thousand miles and I felt sweaty a little.
"Molten hun?"
"Y..Yes mom?"
"You have a crush on Lefty, don't know?"
"W..what!?"
"Molten, don't play dumb... I can tell"
"O..ok fine..."
Mrs.Lennon giggled a bit.
"It's ok to have a crush on him Molten"
"I b..bet he d..doesn't like me back"
"I'm sure he does Molten, he likes you a lot"
"Y..you think?"
"I know so..."

Lefty comes out of the bathroom and sit back down with us, he gets real close to me and puts his arm around my shoulders.
"Is everything ok Molten?"
"Y..yep!"
"You sure?"
"D..definitely"
He gave me a cute smile before letting go and started to watch a movie.

Mrs.Lennon POV
We were all watching a movie and about half way through, I hear a cute little snore. I look over to see both Molten and Lefty asleep while holding hands and getting right close to each other with Lefty's head leaning on Molten's shoulder. The movie ends and Molten wakes up, he looks over to Lefty who was still asleep and blushes like a tomato.
"You wanna go to bed?" I whispered
"Y..yes" Molten whispered back as he picks up Lefty in bridal style and starts heading towards their room.

When we entered the room, I opened the bed blankets while Molten gently place Lefty's sleeping body onto the bed. I cover him up and give him a small kiss on the cheek, Molten then leans into his faces and kisses him on the forehead before getting into be himself.
"Goodnight"
"G..good..night"

*4 hours later*
Lefty POV
Road trip with the whole family, me, mom and... dad... the trunk was full of luggage and entertainment. We were on a long road trip to Central Felid which, from our old place, was 6 hours away drive wise. We had so much fun during the drive, dad always made funny jokes which always made mom and I laugh. During the ride, we sang along to many songs and laughed together as one perfect happy family.

All was great until...

...

Dad was driving the car while we were all singing along to a song I grew up with, then a bird flew straight into the window and scared all of us. Dad lost control of the wheel and served off the road and down a really steep hill, the car tumbled and rolled as it did go down until it landed with a SMASH! Due to the impact of the accident... I passed out.

After a short while, I woke up to see myself trapped in the car while it was all crushed up and broken. I managed to take my seat belt off and crawled towards the front to check on my parents. Mom was ok, just passed out, when I went to check on dad, I saw a massive piece of glass stabbed straight through the heart, blood everywhere and his side was more crushed than mine. I shook him, trying to wake him back but...

He was dead...

I burst into tears while grabbing my cracked phone and dialling 911. In a matter of minutes, ambulances and police arrived...

Everything was loud...

I was scared...

Dad was...

Dead...

Molten POV
I woke up to hear quiet sobbing and sniffing. I sit up from my mattress and look up to see Lefty crying in his sleep while rolling around all over the place.

He's having a nightmare...

I got up and crawling onto his bed, I started shaking him then he shoots up in fear. He frantically looks around before bursting into tears. I held him close while he cried onto me.
"S..shhh... everything i..is ok... shhh"
I rubbed his back just like he did to me when I was upset and held him close, he hugged back. We were like this for about a minute or two before he fully calms down.

"Y..you ok now Lefty?"
He nods at him while still close to me.
"D..do you w..want to talk about it? H..holding it in w..won't help"
He remains silent for a little bit before speaking up. He explains what happened to his dad and the impact it had on him. It was an awful story and I felt really bad for him, he shouldn't have to go through something like that.

"Molten... can you... sleep with me... I wanna cuddle you"
I blushed and felt my heart race, I agreed since it would help make him feel more safe. I pulled the blanket over us and wrap my arms around Lefty, he curls up into a little ball and cuddles me back.

I... I love him...
