Reunion

Lefty's POV
Tonight was freezing cold. I don't know why but it just... felt more colder than usual. After visiting Molten at the hospital and mom dropped me home, I immediately took a hot shower. The shower didn't do much since it was cold when I came out, all of that warmth was gone 😢.

When I did however; there was a small note on the table from mom saying.
Hey Lefty,
I've gone out to do something and won't be home for a while, there is some left over food from last night in the fridge and I'll try to get home as soon as I can.
I love you ❤️
I smiled at the letter and followed her instructions for the food. Last night we had Spaghetti meatballs and that's what I'm having tonight 😋.

After I finished my food, I got immediately tried so I decided to head to my room to read a book or something. Turns out.. I did have a book to read, a book that Molten bought me called "Heartstopper". It was a nice comic book series about two guys who fall in love with each other and go through a series of challenges... similar to me and Molten. I had enough reading and turned off my lights, because it was so cold, I couldn't get comfortable since the bed was cold too. After about a minute and a half of trying to get comfortable, my eyes started to grow heavy and soon I fell asleep.

Mrs.Lennon's POV
I waited for a very long time in the waiting room, I had a show on my phone I could watch while I was waiting for him. I sat there waiting for an hour and a half before they finally brought him out, I was so excited but not just for me, but for Lefty as well. They held him as he stumbled a little as he walked to me, I smiled at him and he smiled back.

Molten is ok...

The doctors told me to keep an eye on him for the next few weeks and if anything happens then bring him back to the hospital. Molten took some time to adjust his legs and get his balance together before we both headed to the car. Before we got in, he came me a really big hug.
"T..thank you m..mom"
"That's alright sweetheart"
"I..I love you!"
"I love you too Molten"
We got in the car and drove home.

Molten's POV
I was so happy to be finally going home, I had been at the hospital for... I'm going to say... nearly two months, which felt longer than that. We pulled up at the driveway and every cell was tingling inside, I was so excited to surprise Lefty.
"Now Molten" Mom started "Lefty might be asleep so we need to be careful ok?"
"O..ok mom"

We got out of the car and walked into the house, I could tell Lefty had eaten due to the stuff that was left around. I was extremely tired so I headed quietly towards Lefty's room, when I did and opened the door, I noticed that Lefty was shivering, the blankets were half off and he looked really blue. I immediately and quietly climbed into the bed and wrapped my arms around him, pulling him into a hug. I then pulled the covers over both of us and held Lefty close to me to keep him warm. My eyes started to get heavy and everything started to fade to black, the last thing I saw before falling asleep was Lefty's cute smile on his sleeping face.

Lefty's POV
I woke up with the sunshine in my face. I look over to see that no one was next to me... strange... I thought someone cuddled me last night. I got out of bed and rubbed my eyes as I walked towards the kitchen, when I adjusted my vision I saw the best thing in my life.

Molten...

He was standing near the dinning table, fully better, no hospital gown or anything like that...

He was... here...

I felt a small tear sneak down my eyes then eventually became a waterfall of tears.
"M..MOLTEN!!!"
I ran over to him was tears streaming down my face and gave him a big fat hug. I squeezed him really tight, I didn't want to let go... not again. He hugged me back and stroked the back of my head gently.
"Shhh... I..I'm here now, I..I'm here"
We stayed like this for a little while before letting go and following it with a deep and passionate kiss.

"H..how l..l..long have you b..been back!?"
"I..I've been back since l..late last night"
"Wait... so you..."
"Y..yep, I c..cuddled you last night"
I smiled then hugged him again.
"Thank you..."
Molten giggles and hugs me back.
"I..I love you g..gummy bear"
"I love you too spaghetti"

We shared another deep kiss before moving on with the day ahead.
