Time drags on and on like a naughty puppy not wanting to walk, no matter how hard you tug on the lead. The ongoing tick tick tick tick of the clock distracts me from the man walking into the room

'Let's do this' he breaths out heavily

'Okay' i glance over to him then back at the floor

We head towards his bathroom once again

He opens the box and reads the instructions

'Karl i know how to do it, I've done it multiple times' i snatch the test out of his hand

I hover over the test waiting for at least a drop to come out. Ah yes. My piss anxiety. Love that.

'Want me to piss on it instead?' He laughs

'I'd rather that' i laugh too

The laughing made me piss. Lmao.

I place the test on the side and wash my hands

'It says to wait three minutes' he stares at the test biting the skin off of his lip

'Karl' i make him look at me 'what if i am' i pause 'what will you do'

'The question you should be asking is what will you do' he raises his eyebrow

'Will you leave me?' I sniffle

He walks over to me and places both hands on each side of my waist 'never'

'Chris manages to juggle his life and his child so why can't we?' He kisses my cheek

Chris is Karl's work friend, they both work for mr beast (aka Jimmy) but they all get along very well. They have really good energy which creates them really good content.

'Karl' i pause once again 'if i am' i chew hardly on my words 'if i am then i don't want to keep it' i let my tears fall 'is that bad?'

'If that's what you think is best then no. It's not bad. Y/n when you want a child you can have one, don't just force that upon yourself because of a little mistake. I'll be here for you anytime. When we are old maybe we can have loads of little shits running round but for now.. well we are practically just kids' he hugs me tight

'Your so wise' i giggle and wipe my tears

A couple more minuets pass, i didn't want to look

'Y/n let's look at the same time' Karl suggests

'Okay' i sniffle

'Three, two, one. Look' we both look

One line

Only one

Alone

No company

Just one

'Thank god' i hug Karl

If only we looked closer
