Chapter Twenty: Weasel and Fish Face; Kuriyama Clan

"Mission a success, I believe?" Hokage raised an eyebrow at Naruto.

Naruto was now standing in front of his beloved Hokage with Takemi knocked out under his feet. "Hai," Naruto simply and boredly replied causing the Hokage to sweat drop. Clearing his throat the Hokage then glance at Takemi, "Oh. This idiot tried to kidnap the princess for a bounty. I apprehended him," Naruto simply stated.

"I can see that."

"What do you want from me Old Man?"

"Naruto, I'm not sure if you are aware but you are being targeted."

Naruto stayed silent giving his Hokage a look, "Not as Hell's Spawn, but as Uzumaki Naruto, jinchūriki to the nine tails," Hokage said. Naruto frown at this, 'He means the Akatsuki Kit. They are after all nine jinchūriki for their tail beast. My guess, it's Gaara who is going down first,' Kurama said. "Now I am aware, it's the Akatsuki isn't?" Naruto asked the Hokage. Even if he now knew it was them, he just needed another confirmation. Hokage nodded his head and let out a heavy sigh, "Naruto, you understand that we will now have ANBU secretly following you for your protection? Yes, I understand that you are strong, even with Kurama helping you, but we can't simply allow them to take you. First, you are part of this village. Meaning, I will give my life for your protection and happiness Naruto. Second, we can't simply have the Akatsuki have Kurama," Hokage said. He then perked up and looked out of his window, "What's the matter?" Naruto asked boredly. Chuckling under his breath, the Hokage turned towards Naruto, "It seems your students found out you're back," Hokage said. Naruto stiffen a bit as an image of Jin bursting into the office and tackling Naruto to the ground. Naruto winced in pain, as he soon realized it wasn't an image of his mind, and Jin was smiling widely at Naruto. "Naruto-Otōsan!!" he shouted.

Naruto gave Jin a smile before ruffling his hair, Tsukimi, Taisuke, and Pyro entered the room with smiles on their faces. "Otōsan," all three greeted. Naruto chuckled, "You guys behave well for Eiichi?" he asked his children. They nodded their heads while Jin looked away nervously, "What did you do Jin?" Naruto asked his son. Jin chuckled nervously and paled when there was a scream. A scream coming from the lips of Eiichi. A scream with Jin's name. "NAMIKAZE-UZUMAKI-OTAKE JIN!!!!" Naruto glared at his son before Jin bolted out of the office. Naruto sighed heavily giving his other children a look; Taisuke and Tsukimi nodded before vanishing leaving Pyro with Naruto. "He pranked Eiichi," he said before vanishing himself. Naruto shook his head before glancing at the Hokage. "When are they going to strike?" he asked. The Hokage looked down at his papers before answering Naruto, "Not anytime soon, I hope," he said with a frown on his face. Naruto hums a bit, "If they do, they will not succeed on taking my Kurama," he said. Kurama then appeared beside him and hugged Naruto with tears running down his face, "Oh how I love you kit!!" he cried out. Takemi immediately sat up and pointed at Kurama, "HANDS OFF OF MY MAN!! YOU SKANK!!" he shouted. Both Naruto and the Hokage sighed heavily when Kurama and Takemi got into an argument.

|Walking in the village|

Naruto couldn't handle Takemi's and Kurama's argument so he left the tower and walked around the village. "Hn, dope," someone familiar call out to him. Naruto smirked at the familiar younger Uchiha, "Teme," he said and walked over towards Sasuke. Sasuke inwardly smiled at Naruto's figure getting closer to him. "How have you been Sasuke?" Naruto asked once he reached his friend. Sasuke nodded his head, "Good. Just return from a mission with Sakura, Takao and Kakashi-sensei," Sasuke answered. Naruto simply nodded and wrapped an arm over Sasuke's shoulder. Sasuke inwardly blushed madly, it got even redder when Naruto leaned in, "Don't look now, but fan girls are behind you," he whispered. Sasuke paled a bit before Naruto took his hand in his before vanishing. Sasuke let out a relief sigh as he noticed he was in Naruto's home. His eyes gazed back at Naruto and tried not to blush at the closeness Naruto was to him. Sasuke's back was slightly pressed against the wall with Naruto slightly pressed against him. Naruto's lips hovering over Sasuke's lips inches away.
