Chapter Twenty-One: Jin's mistake; Protect the Waterfall Village

I'm sorry this took so long but I had family ordeals I needed to handle. I feel like I'm the parent in my family while my parents are behaving like teenagers. Anyways, here is chapter twenty-one and hope you like cause I didn't feel it when I was writing this. I had no motivation whatsoever till I watched a Naruto episode. Onto the story! 

Naruto walked around the village, avoiding the crazy antics that Takemi throws at him plus himself. Sighing heavily, Naruto vanished when he felt a familiar chakra heading his way. Reappearing at the Forest of Death, Naruto could hear someone calling out his name. "NARU-CHAN~!" the familiar voice of Anko rang through his ears as she pounced on him. Naruto glance at the twenty-four year old woman hanging off from his back, but his blue eyes caught something red. His eyes landed at a girl with waist length red hair, burning jade eyes, ivory skin, a killer body that was covered in a blue crop top and orange short-shorts, she wore her head band as a belt and on her feet was black Shinobi sandals. Anko was looking between the two with a pout on her face as Naruto ignores her. "That's the new Chūnin, Uma Akahana. Careful with that one, she has a temper," Anko said. That snapped both out of their trances, "YOU SHUT UP YOU SUGAR-CRAZED-MAINAC!!" Akahana shouted. Naruto chuckled lowly, "Uzumaki Naruto, but that's how I love my women, tempered red heads," Naruto said. Akahana blushed at that comment causing Anko to throw her a glare of jealously. "So Uma-san, how do you like Konohagakure?" Naruto asked. Akahana's blush faded, "How did you know I was new to the village?" she asked.

Naruto smiled at her as he ignores Anko's whines, "I know everyone here in the village, so I would have known who you are even before being promoted," Naruto said causing her to smile at him. She walked closer to him, "You have a strange way to talk to a girl, you know," she said. Naruto perked up from that verbal tic she had and gave her a small smile. "Why wouldn't I? You are very beautiful even with that red hair of yours," he said. Akahana blushed madly before glaring at Anko. Anko was in the middle of mocking Akahana behind his back while Naruto completely ignored her as he stared into Akahana's jade eyes. "You sugar-crazed-maniac, don't you have something better to do?" Akahana growled. Naruto chuckled as he glance warily between the two women. "I should head out. Training my students today," Naruto said while walking closer to Akahana. He lowered his head closer to her ear, "I will see you around Aka-chan," he whispered before lightly kissing her ear. Akahana blushed and moved out of the way, "DON'T DO THAT! IT'S WEIRD YOU KNOW!" Naruto chuckled at her statement before vanishing. 'She reminds me of your mother,' Kurama said to Naruto. Naruto mentally nodded his head at his statement. 'I'm just like dad huh? Falling for fiery redheads with bad tempers,' Naruto said to him causing Kurama to chuckle a bit. It's time to go to the past. Naruto flickered like a flame in the wind before completely vanishing into the breezed autumn air.

|Fourth Hokage Era|

Naruto calmly walked around the village spotting a very young Kakashi taking a young Gai's challenge. Naruto shivered at the sight of Gai and hurried off before they spotted him. "Oh, Naruto-kun," a familiar voice stopped him in his tracks. Turning around he spotted Itachi and his father Fugaku heading his way. "Uchiha-san," Naruto said with a low head bow. Fugaku stared at him for a moment before glancing at the Hokage Tower, "Heading to the Hokage's office Uzumaki-san?" Fugaku asked. Naruto nods his head while Itachi walked closer to him, "Naruto-kun, will you walk with us? Father and I are heading there," Itachi said with a smile on his face. Naruto nods his head and let Itachi walk beside him while Fugaku walked in front of them. Naruto was glancing around when he spotted someone familiar. "Mikoto, what are you doing outside of the compound?" Fugaku asked his impregnate wife. "I was wondering what you would like to have at dinner. Oh Naruto-san, you can join us if you want," Mikoto said with a faint smile on her face. Naruto noticed how tired she's been lately with her pregnancy. "It's quite alright Mikoto-san. I have somewhere else to be at after speaking with the Yondaime," Naruto answered. Mikoto pouted a bit but smiled when her husband answered her question.
