You were barely able to register what you were doing when Dami kissed your lips.
Kisses like this were fairly common; both of you were busy people, and therefore, you really only had time for a quick kiss or two before one of you had to leave for work or to run errands.
You couldn't help but feel disappointed when her lips left yours, even though she had done it many times before.
"I'll be back soon, my love. Wait for me?"
Her expectant eyes stare you down as you nod before finally letting go of her.
"I'll be right here when you get back."
She left, and a little bit of your heart left with her as the door shut with a loud sound. You'd miss her touch and the way she kissed you, but she'd be back soon enough.
No matter how many times either of you left, you always managed to find your way home to each other.
