Karan's POV

A loud banging on my door woke me from my slumber and as soon as I opened my eyes I saw the sunlight filling up my room. Ohh noo... I am late.. Ohh God what has happened to me?

I jerked out of my bed and heard my niece' sweet voice coming through the door, "Chachu, kaha ho aap? Darwaza kholona Chachu.. Aap abhi tak sooh rahe ho?" I immediately open the door and picked her up in my hands, "Baby kya hua aap subah subah kyu bula rahi hoo mujje?" I asked her kissing her forehead.

"Chachu aap itna late tak soo rahe the? Very bad, aapko pata hai na aaj aapki Engagement hai.. Kitni taiyariyan karni hai Agent Shergill, aapko mumma neeche bula rahi hai breakfast karne ke liye. Jaldi ready ho jao chachu." her cute instructions made me smile as I put her down and she sat on the bed.

But wait a minute.. Ohh myy Godd, its our Roka todayy.. Rani Sahiba is officially going to be my wifeeyy soon this month!! After 5 years of relationship, we have finally come down to this day!!

I can't believe we have come such a longg way, our relationship has gone through so many ups and downs but each time we only stood by each other stronger! In the last 2 years specially, inspite of everyone asking  us to get married soon, we waited for each other, as I knew Monami wanted to build a career for herself first.

I wanted to stand by her supporting all her dreams while I was on missions after my promotion, we always knew that we would come back to each other every single time and no kind of distance would be an hindrance in our love life. We both understand each other's priorities in  life afterall, we both know that "Duty comes first" and that's the best part of our relationship!! And through all this time our love, our bond has only grown stronger!

A smile grew on my face as I thought how luck I was to meet my Rani Sahiba at 'Ghar Ghar mei Soldier Training Program' and how she became my lifeline. All thanks to her, I am a changed person now, she not only helped me get back from the trauma of my brother's death but also brought me back to life in the real sense!

My mind was full of our memories when Baby's voice brought me back to my reality, "Chachu kaha kho gaye aap? Firse Chachi ke saapne dekh rahe ho kya?" she teased me. "Baby ki bachhi! Bahot bolne lagi ho tum. Ruko abhi dikhata hoon tumhe.", I warned her as I started tickling her lightly and she giggled.  This 11 year old is the 'Nautanki Dadi' of the house I swear... Don't know where does she learn all this nonsense from!

"Bass Bass Chachu, don't tickle me. Aur aap jaldi breakfast ke liye ready hoke aa jao mumma apko bula rahi hai... Late ho gaye ho aap Chachu and Special Agents are never late", she instructed me. "Yes ma'am" , I replied as I saluted her.

"Abb aap jao Bhabhi ko bolo ki mei 10mins ready hoke aata hoon, thik hai?" "Yes chachu", she ran away as I shut the door behind her to get ready but my eyes fell on my phone's notifications.. Ohh wait! Rani Sahiba has messaged me something.. I immediately opened the chat to find her cute text saying,

"Good Morning Mr. Shergill, raat ko neend achhi aayi?😉"

And with that I could see all the chats we had from yesterday night loading up slowly in the reverse order! I was missing her so much already, it has been 3 days I haven't met her but today, well its our Roka!! Hell Yeess..

After 5 years of our relationship, we will finally tie a knot in the next 3 weeks starting from today!! I am so thankful to God for sending her to my life! She has always been there for me when I was at my worst and lowest state both physically, mentally and emotionally, always helping me deal with all the problems in any damn situation, like she always does!! And today's day is so symbolic for us, she had completed the Mission, rescued me from the terrorist captive and literally brought me back to life 5 years ago....
