Chapter 6: You Are Mine Now

It was a long day at work today. I parked the car at the parking lot and shifted in my seat.

" Designs are selected for the summer collection. Proposal for the anniversary is also selected. The investment for Canada resort is also done. The developers are fired." I started counting the work that's completed.

I still need to find the new designers for L.A. My head again started aching. I got out of my car, locked it and walked to the lift. As I entered my apartment, Ahaana came into view.

" What are you watching?" I asked as I sat on the couch tired.

" You came. How was your day?" She asked while switching the TV off. She must be getting bored considering that she was watching a comedy show.

" Worst. I never thought this much work would come with success." I said while learning back on the couch.

" Here's your water mam. Do you need something else?" The house maid kept a glass of water on the table. I nodded a no and she went in the kitchen. I picked up the glass and gulped the whole glass.

" Advik said he was having a party. Should I tell him you don't want to go."

" What type of party is it?" I asked while keeping the glass on table.

" He said it's suprise. He told us to dress prettily."

" If it's a party then we should go. It's better than being at home and getting bored. And I can clearly see you were getting bored."

" You got me. I got bored of reading so I thought to watch something but you know I felt lonely in that big theatre room so I came downstairs."

" You should have watched something on the television."

" I have watched everything on Netflix."

" Everything?" I asked shocked.

" I mean nearly every thing that I like. I don't like watching them alone."

" Then let's watch together."

" No." Ahaana said while standing.

" Why?"

" Because we have to go get ready." She said while taking me to her room.

" Tell me which one is good. I can't choose."

There were two dresses on the bed. One was a beautiful blue off shoulder dress and another was a black slit dress.

" This one is cute" I said pointing to the blue one " and this one is sexy." Pointing to black one." But you know what, I have a very gorgeous dress that will look good on you."

I grabbed her hand and took her to my walk in closet. I searched through the dresses for the one I wanted her to wear.

" Found it." It was a light peach coloured off shoulder dress.

" Will it look good on me?" She asked while handing the dress.

" Why do you think I showed you this?"

" I will try it then. What about you? What will you wear?" She asked going through the dresses.

" Your closet is really so big. This one. It will look so good on you." She said while taking out a black slit dress. It was a full sleeve dress with a deep V neckline.

" Ok then I will wear this one."

" I'll also go and get ready." With that she went into her room. I took a hot shower to release the tiredness and slipped into the dress. I did a proper makeup first in a while. I don't know why but I really want to look good today. I decided to curl my hair. After doing my hair I wore a necklace and earrings. After spraying a bit of perfume I walked out of my room. I knocked on Ahaana's room. She opened the door.
