Chapter 13: With you

Ruhi Singhania:

" The season at both places are so different." I said while walking to my penthouse.

" I know." Advik said and I typed the password.

" Isn't it my birthday?"

Fuck! I should have changed it. But then again I didn't want to. I neverthlessly nodded.

" From when do you have this password?"

" From when I bought my first apartment." I said my back still facing him. He chuckled and kissed my cheek.

" It's strange how our birth date are the same. Only months are different."

" I know. I am sorry I won't be here on your birthday." I said turning to him.

" No problem. I will be able to call you that's the biggest gift for me." He smiled. But something is wrong. His expression is telling me something is wrong.

" What do you want for your birthday by the way?"

" Hmm let me think. What should I ask?" I chuckled

" Think about it and when you know what you want tell me."

" Will you give me anything?"

" If I would be able to." I said and opened the door and we entered inside.

" Ruhi Singhania incapable of giving something? Impossible."

" I am not a deity that I would be able to give anything." I shook my head and plopped on the couch. " I hate flights." He chuckled.

" Here drink it." He said bringing a glass of cold water drinking his one.

" Thank yo- what the hell!" I said as a sound of loud bash came from upstairs. We both looked at each other and then upstairs. I stood up quickly and walked there.

" Wait! Be careful!" He said and walked infront of me. As we went upstairs a giggle came from the garden. And we walked there.

And there were these birds dancing. Not birds, love birds. I forgot that they were here.

But they are cute. They were so drowned in each other's eyes that they even didn't even felt our presence. Advik cleared his throat and they both looked at us.

" Disturbing element." Shravan mumbled. I and Ahaana laughed.

" You both are cute." I told her and she blushed.

" We had to go for our flight but we were waiting for you both." Shravan said.

" Then Ruhi, I am very much thankful I got you again. I gained my best friend again. This trip was very excellent." She said coming to me and hugged me.

" I know. I am sorry for whatever I did back then."

" Don't be sorry." Ahaana said and pulled out.

After some minutes they were on their way to the airport.

" So finally she is getting engaged. She looked happy." I nodded in agreement and went to the couch. He too came and sat beside me.

" They are happy. And they will be happy with each other." I said and took my laptop.

Advik took my laptop and kept it on the table, keeping his head on my lap.

" How don't you seriously get tired of your work?" I chuckled at his statement.

There was a silence for some minutes. My fingers were in his hairs. He was looking at the ceiling not feeling my gaze in him. He was lost in his own world.
