Chapter Twelve

Dory's Pov
"Dory! Please don't forget that you are on cooking duty tonight." I wasn't even a second out of the elevator hearing Iida's voice shouting at me from the kitchen where everyone was gathering around for some needed breakfast. I jumped for a moment at the loud shout, sinking my shoulders back gripping at my bag tightly. Dressed in a normal brand of shorts and a tanktop with my running shoes. I took a glance at my watch. Had to meet Monoma in less than hour.

"Alright I'm on it." I announced slipping into the kitchen I grabbed two water bottles placing them in my bag, hearing Aoyama voice whistling at me gently.

"Well don't you look devine Dory." I smiled his way grabbing a simple cereal bar before moving towards were Katsuki was shoving spoonfuls of curry into his mouth looking back at me confused I planted a quick kiss to his puffed out cheek.

"Thank you Aoyama.  Have fun at your class today babe, also Deku there's smoke coming from your room." I announced to the green haired boy who shot up quickly with a shriek.

"Crap!" Just when I was about to make my way out, I felt Katsuki's hand grabbing at my own urging me back towards him with a thin line appearing on his face.

"Hey what's the rush baby? Don't you want to have breakfast? What's got you all bouncy." I chuckled a little shifting on my feet before speaking with soft excitement.

"Just getting some extra training in that's all." He narrowed his eyes gently at me before nodding his head rubbing his thumb over my palm.

"Alright.. Call me when you are done and I'll come by so we can walk home." I smiled his way once more giving him the kiss he wanted while he tilted his head up my way calling goodbye out to everyone else. Another day, another day to become a human.

"Today we are gonna try something a little different Dory. I want you to think about what fuels your anger the most." To say my face was confused was a hesitant bit there. I was very confused. Monoma and me had started out training like usual. We would run laps, a set of sit ups. Before he would activate my quirk practicing with me.

"Isn't that like the most negative way to have your quirk be controlled? I thought they taught us not to fuel it that way." The blonde rolled his eyes with a sigh rubbing at the back of his sweaty hair in place.

"That is correct but there's different levels of anger. There's just the negative there's hatred and then we have the next level of evil. If you could think of one thing that happens to you what keeps you going what makes you wanna be a hero?" I found myself now in thought? Why did I wanna be a hero why was this all worth it truly.

"I think.. Originally I wanted to get away from my mom...I know that's terrible but my mom is my worse influence she's always commenting on my weight putting me down. It makes me angry sometimes because I'm fine the way I am... She even does it in front of her friends and Katsuki she's just embarrassed me." I spat out each word taking a deep breath looking down at myself shaking my head a couple times.

"I love myself... I love me but she does that and it breaks me down. I get commented on my weight by people at school and I don't care it's when it comes from my own flesh and blood It just me." I scoff sighing deeply brushing away the sweat from my temple.

"I wanna be a hero because anyone should be able to be a hero no matter their family background or even their weight why should it matter when they are helping people." He shot me a side smirk stepping forward towards me exhaling.

"Summon your water and hit me with all you have." I stared at him before swirling my hands around quickly stepping back watching him brace his own self back before we both shot out the largest streams of water, I watched as it speed up slightly pushing his body back to hit the tree in one motion. A small grunt left him before he was grinning.

"Now that's what I'm talking about Dory! See it's not anger you fuel your quirk with determination. If we keep up at this you'll be doing just more than water balls. You could possibly bring a storm! How awesome is that." He cried out in excitement jumping around feverishly before he was sprinting back over to me. His excitement caused me to burst out into shy laughter returning the hug he squeezed me in.

"You are amazing Dory!"

"So are you Monoma thank you so much. "
